The game you put most hours into

WoW, my guess is 3000+ hours when it’s all said and done between retail and legacy servers. Vanilla is the best game ever, miss it all the time, I just don’t have the hours to devote to it anymore or I would still be playing on legacy severs.

I put some good thought into this and I think Street Fighter Alpha 3 has got to be the winner. The number of hours I’ve poured into this game are incalculable, from time spent in the arcade, the PSX release, Dreamcast, Mame later, the PSP version... Damn I’ve played that game a lot...

Not too sure...either Halo 3 or DBZ Budokai 3. I know that second one probably makes a lot of people say "wtf?" but back in the day me and my friends would always play games competitively at each other's houses and the one we always bust out was Budokai 3. Really bummed out when they didn't make another but FighterZ is looking like a real return to form.

Myth 2, that WWII Recon Mod was damn addicting, it was also Bungie at their best with online play, clans, lobbies, and mod support.

It's gotta be between Rocket League, WoW, or Xenoblade Chronicles X. Unless I guess you count beating FFVII 5 times and 100%ing 2 times. I lost track, I just do things.

Probably league of legends.

Been playing it pretty regularly for like 6 years or so since it came out (and was in beta). I haven't taken some breaks here and there though.

It's just a game you can login and play a game or two when you're bored or have nothing else to do and with the updates with new champions/modes/item changes, etc it doesn't feel exactly the same either.

Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, around 1000 hours or so. There was a time when I dreamed, ate, and breathe Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer, and that was for a looong time.

Makes the whole Mass Effect Andromeda shenanigans even more painful to me.

I'm lazy, don' have any apps installed (rebuilding PC) and I'm old so games from back in the days either didn't have trackers or I have no idea but here goes!

Everquest (#1 OG and then expansions) should be my top played. Starsiege Tribes was up there. Age of Empires 2 as well, but friends not having broadband yet and being interrupted by their sisters/moms/whoever needing the phone... lol. Good ol' days! Later on it became Lineage 2 and then WoW, yes. I think I have more hours overall in EQ1 than WoW though. It might be close. That L2 grind and castle fights though...

EA's NHL on various consoles. If you combine them especially, over the years from like 2007 until now... all the hours simming franchises and all the nights couch competing with buddies. We STILL do NHL evenings every once in a while.

Mass Effect I've got a TON, especially since I replayed them all. Probably more in 2. Morrowind and then Skyrim. Skyrim I know got over 200. My legit Steam copy has 110 or something but I did at one point download a "side" version (long after my day 1 purchase) to test mods since I was installing so many and shit was just breaking all the time. Between the two it has to be over 200.

The Witcher 3 got over 100. I was 50 hours in when I clean installed Windows 10 without realizing the game didn't cloud save. Started over after a while and put more than 50 in the new one for sure. And now I need to reinstall it to finish B&W because uninstalling EVE for whatever reason deleted the folder Origin games were in. So that's not even done! Some of the older CoD games got 100-200 each when I was still into MP shooters. Borderlands was 100+. Borderlands 2 probably close to that.

EverQuest and World of Warcraft must have 1000+ each, but that was so long ago and I had tolerant af girlfriends too. Hell, one played Tribes AND EQ with me, in different clans/tribes and fought me. I was younger. I can't even imagine doing that now if I had NOTHING to do. My ass wouldn't even tolerate it in my comfy chair. My attention span wouldn't. My need to move around. I'll always game but I'm way past the point of doing those marathons. Had a fucking BLAST though. No regrets just awesome nostalgia.

Monster Rancher 2. Keep in mind I've been playing it on/off for over a decade. Hell, going through CDs alone just to find new monsters has probably eaten up several hundred hours of my life.

No regrets.

I've also put in 400+ hours into both Fallout 4 and Pokemon Ruby. I haven't finished the DLC for F4 yet, so I can easily see myself dumping another 100-200 hours into that game.

It has to be wow hands down.
Unable to log on(currently bored of legion so waiting till next xp).
So warlock is 2 years + of play time since vanilla.
Other toons (mage sham and Hunter) prob add up to another year.
So ya wow has my most time ever played.

Easily TES III: Morrowind. I've played this game for years since back when it came out. The best game in the series and always will be.

Definitely Runescape. Last I checked it was around 200ish days of game time (~4800hrs) over the course of my 12 year RS career. Halo 3 probably comes in at a close-ish second (1-2k hours last I calculated), with WoW lingering at the number 3 spot (~500hrs), just above larger RPGs like The Witcher 3, Fallout 3/NV/4 etc.. (100-350hrs usually)

Despite not playing it for months now, Awesomenauts remains my most-played game ever. Well over a thousand hours. I don't even know how much, as I played it on PS3, my in-laws 360, my Steam account, my brother's Steam account (splitscreen), and the same deal with the in-laws.

It was the first online game I got into, and I have an addictive/obsessive personality, so..

I hope for nothing to ever top it unless it's literally the only game I play for the rest of my life, or I play it (hopefully happily, and not out of addiction) for a few minutes every day or something for a number of years. The time is straight up unhealthy.

About 600 hours into Fallout 4 and I swear I could do it again, I had to delete the game ... it's an actual problem.

OK NOW I NEED TO STOP THINKING OF FALLOUT 4 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

FFXI for me. I started early 2005 and after on and off breaks from playing I retired for good around 2010 I believe. It was so long ago but I think I remember my playtime showing 450 days or something. Honestly don't remember. Granted probably 100+ days of that was just my PS2 never being turned off and being AFK, lol.

FFXI is the game that just will not let me go. Will never forget it or the people I met along the way.

I have 2481 hours in Football Manager games (2012-2017) on Steam.

Edit: Started playing those in 2009, so i probably have around 4000 total.

3k hours in Destiny across three years, I doubt I'd put half of that kind of time in any game ever again especially not D2.

I'd guess my WoW time over the years would easily add up to 1000+ hours.

With regards to STEAM games, I've only exceeded those hours with Dota 2 and Company of Heroes 2.

Other honourable mentions: vanilla Company of Heroes, Modern Warfare, Rome Total War, Warcraft 3.

Little is the new Big
Way too many years of HL1:DM & WoW for sure, probably the top 2 easily. Right now, it's 1,076 hours (so far) of Rocket League, not slowing down any time soon.
