Glad she wasn't scared to call out Terry Gilliam too.

For some reason, I am not surprised by Terry Gilliam being bully.

Also Jesus Christ her story is terrifying. Was Kate Beckinsale's story ever posted?

So... The entire thing is a fucking shambles? I knew it was bad but I thought by now we'd maybe have someone coming out and saying they WEREN'T harassed, or worse. Seemingly everyone from movie and TV stars to the lesser knowns have ALL had some kind of incident that is seriously fucked up with someone, and most of them have several of them.

A reckoning needs to happen to all and sundry.

A lot of directors are short tempered and bully actors.

I've never seen it get better results than the professionals who're polite and helpful.

Yeah, in one of the big threads, she was still at school. Scumbag.

I do like his don't tell anyone thing, something Trump apparently does when women turn him down for a date.

He gets turned down, is still mad about it years later and tries it again. And people wonder why so many were too scared to speak out.

James Cameron is the exception here. Dude is an absolute force of nature but gets spectacular results.

I hear Cuaron and Scott are also very hardcore about their visions, and can rub people the wrong way, but get "it" right way more often than not.

Are you kidding? Avatar has the worst acting I've ever seen, outside of obvious B movies. He can't even make a decent copy of his own Aliens, especially with a main character who can't stick to an accent.

Saint Titanfall
J.J. Abrams is apparently a very nice person

Zach Snyder too, although he comes off as a bro in interviews.
I never figured Zack to be an actual dice, he may be particular and have certain style but not the usual malaciousness.

Now Bay is a sick didn't need any reports that was ducking obvious.

He was mentioned in the same paragraph as Harvey Weinstein so people are now going to assume the worst when in reality he could have just yelled at Lena and stole her lunch money.

Knowing Gilliam, there is high probability of this.

Yoooooo, everyone—she didn't say Gilliam sexually harassed her (which isn't to say he shouldn't be called out for being a prick).

The worst thing I've ever read about Gilliam in terms of his on-set behavior was The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, where he had a then 9-year-old Sarah Polley do a lot of crazy stunts without considering the whole "she's a 9-year-old girl" thing. I know she's never spoken favorably about working on the film as a result.

Yeah, it read to me that this was already a traumatic story for her to revisit, and the Gilliam piece sounded like "oh and Terry Gilliam, who's just an asshole, fuck that guy too" type thing. Furious about Harvey, no time to cover for Gilliam being a run of the mill asshole.

Fuck Harvey.

Though, Gilliam comes off almost as an asexual insane genius, so name dropping him in that fashion seems a bit sensationalistic. Dude was probably an asshole, but he has always seemed like one.

Has the dude ever worked with the same actor twice, excluding Ledger?

And speaking of nice directors, I've heard about tons of them. Aronofsky, Wright, Chazelle, Boyle, Reed, Waititi, Wes Anderson, Villeneuve, Scorsese, Darabont, Howard, Edwards, Feig, Gunn, Duncan Jones, etc etc.

I remember hearing Denis Villenueve was is nice and easy to work with.

David Fincher is kind of an insane perfectionist but he does not seem like a vindictive asshole.

was listening to some interviews from BR2049 cast memebers....Villenueve sounds like the sweetest fella

always thanking the actors and calling them "my friend" on set
