What's your MOST PLAYED game this year?

Mine's probably:

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - 50-60 hours (according to Switch profile)
The Witcher 3 - ~33 hours (and still have the two expansions, but I'm saving those for the new PC)
Horizon: Zero Dawn - 28 hours

I have so much sitting on my backlog that I haven't gotten around to still that are dozens of hours. One day.

Smash 4 has been my most played game ever since it released.
But close to it is Zelda Breath of the Wild. Might have played around 80 hours of it =D

1) Yakuza 0 - ~170 hours
2) Persona 5 - ~90 hours
3) Zelda, I guess, or Horizon. Maybe even Prey.

Don't think this will change by the end of the year.

Actually, Everybody's Golf for the PS4 might be up there too, I only play it short bursts, but I do keep playing it almost every damn day. Not sure how much time I've spent on it in total.

1) Overwatch: 395 hours
2) BOTW: ~10 hours (lol)
3) Master Blaster Zero: < 10 hours

I'm addicted to Overwatch. Help!
I cannot play anything else.

Breath of the Wild at over 125 hours, followed by Persona 5 with around 105 hours.

I didnt think it was possible for me to break the century mark in any game nowadays, not with a massive backlog and grown man time constraints. In 2017, I did it twice.

2017 has been a legendary year for games.

217 hours on Final Fantasy X-2.

Usually I'd say XIV, but when I think about it, I haven't actually played it that much this year since I haven't been doing endgame. It might still be more than X-2 though with Stormblood and all the patches and beast man dailies I did.

1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 170h
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 95h
3. ARMS: 5h

This will definitely change by the end of the year. Stardew Valley on Switch is already close to being third. SMO is my most anticipated game of the year! Also, Fire Emblem Warriors will be getting a lot of my time (especially since my school will be on strike the week after release), as well as Ultra Moon if I include shiny hunting and whatnot. Lots of hype for XC2 too, but it may be releasing too late to make the list. That being said, I think MK8D will probably still end up being my top spot. It'll be 2 and 3 that change.

Most played is probably Persona. I'm away from the PS4 so I can't see what the number is but I know it's something ridiculous.

Binding of Isaac -300 hours on my switch, a few hundred more on my PS4

and its probably a tie between overwatch and breath of the wild.

- Persona 5 more than 160h
- Nioh about 110h

and the ever reigning champ

- Europa Universalis IV with god knows how many hours this year. Total since launch is above 1600h so I'd guess around 150-200h so far this year.

Splatoon 2 was at 215 Hours last I checked, that won't be knocked to second. Will definitely rise in number before year's end.

Persona 5 ended on 99:11, that will likely stay strong in its place.

Don't actually know what else I've played this year that reached high hour numbers. Breath of the Wild had 45, but I feel like I've played a few other titles that reached that. I'll just say its third for now, too lazy to check lol.

Edit: ah, yep, I knew I played this a lot but didn't know I poured so much time in this year: just checked my Activity Log and Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold takes third place at 71:10.

Third may change by the end of the year, but I wouldn't bet money on it. There's Etrian Odyssey V, Fire Emblem Warriors, and (depending on how late I buy it, waiting on nice, cozy weather!) Stardew Valley. Any of those could reach more than 70 hours, but who knows. Hopefully they don't, that's kind of unhealthy

1. Final Fantasy XIV - a lot
2. Zelda BOTW - 100+ hours

Nothing else is particularly close. I probably played a fair amount of Dark Souls 3 due to the release of the final DLC, and another couple dozen hours of Crypt of the Necrodancer due to it being awesome. I also spent a while on Factorio and Splatoon 2. I've been meaning to go back to Horizon and Nier, but have only played a few hours of each so far. I also played some short games like Samus Returns and Cuphead that won't rate on a list like this.

That reminds me: EO5 is out today. Maybe it'll be #3 on my list by next week.

Released this year, Dawn of War III with 118 hours. Crusader Kings II was probably around the same, with Dragon Quest Builders coming in third on Vita.

Elder Scrolls Online - 140 hours this year (renewed around Feb)
Divinity: Original Sin 2 - 80 hours this year (not that far into Act 2...game is a behemoth)
Destiny 2 - 70 hours so far, many more to go over the next few years.
Paragon - 50 hours this year, 100s of hours last year (about 400 all up across last 2 years).

Nioh - Somewhere around 130-150 hours?
(Tie) BotW and Persona 5 - 50 hours (not finished with either yet)

I don’t really see it changing by year end, aside from the number of hours played on BotW and P5.

About 125 hours. I don't think there'd be anything that would top it this year tbh.

Destiny 2 about 105 hours followed by Breath of The Wild at around 50. I expect I'll play more BotW and Destiny once the DLC comes.

Mario will probably make my list by the end of the year.

Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition - About 75h
I've been replaying this and have finally finished it on tactician difficulty. Good game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - About 65h
Amazing experience. Will replay it on master mode.

FTL: Faster Than Light - Who knows?!
I often return to this game and add dozens of hours to my play time, and this has happened this year.
