I'm not so sure. Nintendo probably got lots of Expansion Pass money from excited Zelda fans on launch day. The absolute best time to sell a season pass is when hype is at its highest point. It certainly worked on me. And the backlash really wasn't all that large and certainly had zero affect on BotW's sales performance.

That being said, if DLC is announced for Odyssey pre or post launch, I won't be surprised at all.

I’ve been on blackout since Nintendo direct early in the year so been avoiding all the vids posted.

It’s gonna be an amazing week. I got shadow of war. Destiny 2 on my pc an Mario all that week. Plus I pre order my iPhone X the same day Mario launches
