Here is my wishlist:

1) "Bane - The Movie" with Tom Hardy

2) "Shadow over Innsmouth" by Guillermo del Toro - starring Tom Hardy

3) A crossover movie with Baby Groot and Baby Yoda

4)"Bucky - The Movie" starring Bucky and Tom Hardy as the villain

What's yours?

One of the greatest movies never made. Directed by del Toro, and produced by James Cameron. Universal balked at it because it needed a $200M budget for what would've been a hard-R sci-fi/horror movie.

Ah yes, I heard about that. Poor Guillermo. Fuck Universal!

The darkness made into a movie could be epic , loved the original game

Kate and lynch too, (guilty pleasure games for me)

I'd like to see more lighthearted movies, maybe with some slapstick thrown in and lower stakes than someones life. Feels like everything produced today, that isn't an Adam Sandler film, is just depressing.

I agree that a movie/show which has Bucky as the lead instead of the love interest of the main character would be cool. Also, an insane budget samurai action epic about the late Sengoku era.

Hmmm even if I watch comedies it's always someone's life at stake, to be honest. Like "Nobody" recently or "Knives Out".

British comedies are the best!

The stunts and effects are a bit outdated but they nailed the music and feeling of isolation:

Hollywood would have to take too many risks for a movie like this(Near silent protagonist, only one human actor on screen, etc). Even with that latest Riddick movie(which could have been incredible), the studio behind it was too scared to have him alone on an alien planet just trying to survive and adapt. They had to bring in the idiots and story beats to 'spice things up'.

A Fusion based plot could also work:

guillermo del toro's hobbit and hellboy III

also hated the sequel to prometheus I wish prometheus was its own universe separate from aliens and we didn't get that sequel

This would have been one that needed a movie back when practical effects were still being used in 90% of cinema (pre-90's): film adaptation of Stephen King's short story Grey Matter. I know an indie company pushed to try making it into a movie a few years back but it may never get the full push.

Other than that, not really a movie that "never existed" but finding the full version will likely never happen: Director's cut of 'Cobra.' The uncut film is practically a whole different movie but for many reasons it will likely never be released.

Many “Whelps”! Handle It!
Nick Cave wrote a screenplay for a sequel to Gladiator in which Maximus finds himself in the afterlife with the Roman gods. Apparently Russel Crowe liked it but the studio ultimately rejected it. I wish that had been made.

I'm glad you don't work for DreamWorks m8 ;-)

Seriously though that sounds awful, the first film is a yearly showing in my house due to the wife loving it and it's grounded in reality, to suddenly have a sequel set amongst the gods... Nah

I wish a huge budget halo movie existed. Quiet main character sort of like a Rambo in space. Something like that needs a high budget or it won’t work. That’s why I’m skeptical of the show. It’s easy to make look cheesy.

Also a gears of war movie would be awesome too. Batista, Dwayne Johnson, John cena, terry crews. Just an over the top stupid action flick. Something like expendables

Dark Souls: The Movie (but would probably work better as a Netflix series like The Witcher)

thinks Halo Infinite is a new graphical benchmark
Former Batman allies turned villains, stories about Bin Laden and on behalf of marvel fans Iron Man 4.

THE Prey 2 fanatic
Joker: Into the Joker-Verse, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Jared Leto, Mark Hamill, Willem Dafoe, and Jackie Earle Haley as live-action Jokers. Throw in whoever played him in Gotham too.

Batman: Into the Bat-Verse, starring Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Robert Pattinson, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Kevin Conroy, and Jake Gyllenhaal as Batmen.

While we're talking superheroes, another Superman starring Brandon Routh.

I'd also really like a faithful, high quality adaptation of the entire Narnia series.

More Department Q movies starring the original cast :lollipop_pensive:

And for the fun of it, Cloud Atlas 2: Clouder Atlaser.

Also I had a dream about a Star Wars movie inspired by chinese action films, and it looked really awesome. It starred Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. I'd like that.
