To be fair you could say the same for series x, and ps5, no ray tracing on most, limited frame rates or resolutions. Things aren't quite the same as they were say, in the ps3 days where it took years to really use the power. Yes there will be optimizations, but what we see today for series s, x, and ps5 isn't about to radically change. And that's fine, we have 3 very capable systems hitting at or near thier design goals for thier prive points. Certainly delivering a lot more bang for your buck than pc these days.
I for one think we are very fortunate to have all 3 systems, we could have been stuck with all 3 systems with less ram, weaker cpu's, slower ssd, etc, or even wildly higher price points.
