Wow. I wonder if they will even have any next Gen enhancements this year. Last year it was pretty much non existent. Probably because they had to port to Xbox. I was hoping an extra year would at least get us done next Gen models like in fifa and nba.

Man I remember playing this on the PS2 in college, it was pretty fun so the Switch port should be good.

2022 and Sony is releasing a multi-platform sports game on Playstation, Xbox, Switch...all that with Cross-Platform Play, Cross Saves and Cross Progression.
At the same time this is happening, they are releasing pretty good ports of their older games on PC as well.

Not necessarily, if MLB were unhappy with the way things turned out or wanted to use Gamepass as a way to introduce the series to Xbox, they wouldn't have done the deal again this year.
Obviously it worked out well for both parties, and decided to continue the deal going.

Couldve been a multi year deal.
But yearly MLB doesnt really sell that much. maybe a million max on PS. Probably less than 500k on xbox. Thats $30 million in revenue of which MLB probably only gets around $21 million. If MS promised $5-10 million for gamepass in addition to day one retail sales, MLB probably took it.

This franchise was never this big and it'll only get bigger with the Switch version this year.

Have you played it recently? I did like a year ago...and It aged quite bad. For a new player it would make sure he wouldn't try that IP ever again.
I kid you not but the first Uncharted game came out 15 years ago already, lmao. On its way to celebrate 2 decades already.
