I recently ran a full virus scan here in Brazil and my 10900K reached T junction temperatures. Stay cool while exploring NC, folks!

EDIT: New tweet from the same dev regarding the original tweet

Poor guy must have been scolded by some useless middle manager for speaking out of turn.

I got my 7800X3D in an Arctic Liquid Freeze II using 6 fans in push/pull.

I guess if they're actualy utilizing all the cores then I expect to meet the most demanding usage and temps which is usually high 70's in benchmarks.

It seems like in the last 6 months devs have decided that their games don’t need to work on current consoles or PCs … wtf?
Because people are ready to give them their money.

Reviews and launch disasters isnt doing that much to stop these sales.

I mean look at cod and sport guys.

10 minute 100% CinebenchR23 run. It did push my Tctl/Tdie to 84 but that is the most extreme case I have using Cinebench or Prime95. Cooler doing its job given I have a good PBO2 OC.

If the current trend of high CPU games goes then I will be in the 70's if it's in the 90% usage range.

"We don't know how to optimize our product."

Just half-ass and ridiculous in my eyes. These companies don't give a shit about their customers and I wish more just said "fuck it, you're not getting my money anymore." Watch how fast they start producing better results.
What? If anything, the more optimized a game is, the more it’ll stress your system. A poorly optimized game is one that only stresses one core and leaves the rest of them underutilized.

Not all devs stand behind a failed launch. CDPR is working their asses off to turn the ship around. If they weren't, the reviews and the launch disaster would have mattered a lot more. In the end, that's what we want, right? For a wrong to be made right.
But that comes at the expense of launching a shit game first, instead of the promised game.
If they can get away with it right now, what makes them stop doing it in the future, if they can simply turn the ship around?
We will all end up with shit launch, fix later.

I too like to respond to a thread when I have no clue what I'm talking about. You do realize this is actually a good thing right? It shows CDPR actually did optimize and its going to use high end hardware properly, unlike most devs.

Maybe I did reacted stupidly to this. I have so much pent up frustration for these companies now. It's annoying when the only thing I can do is withhold something (money). I want to destroy these companies lol.

I have a small fan I point at my PC on turbo mode to help keep it cool. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Current mods will work on 2.0? Mods like hd texture?
Wouldn't count on it day of the update. GIven how extensive the game's code is being updated, it might take the folks a few days or maybe weeks to sort through what's changed and what can be salvaged from their own mod code.
