This is true. They were really going nowhere - their inclusion into DX did so much for them and they were a great fit.
The Outlaws where doing well on their own pre DX, they had a great feud with the Legion of Doom and then the Cactus Jack Chainsaw Charlie matches.

If anything I'd say the Outlaws being in DX is what made DX turn face, the crowd where just cheering soo much for the Outlaws that they had to turn the whole group face.

I was about to start bitching about Shamrock not selling anything, but then he finally did.

I had a dream this morning that Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were trying to murder me.

Lets face it you couldn't have really been murdered by a delirious mess and some chap whose legs would give way as he attempted to chase you, unless of course they were from over a decade ago.
Well at least your dreams are cool again.

They were chasing me down in a car, so they had quad coverage right there. Plus Nash was driving, so there was no chance of a drunken Scott Hall crashing. They claimed I was "trying to take their spot" after I saved Daniel Bryan from getting run over by them.

Wow, those Joshimania results. I guess Del Rey is nailing Quackenbush. Didn't realize it was Saramania

Yeah, that Night 1 main event result was pretty surprising - although
Aja beat Hamada today and Del Rey has Hamada tomorrow, so I'm gonna guess Ayako beats Sara to kinda even things up
.

Okay this is the hardest I've laughed in some time, Just visualizing the whole scenario cracked me up. That goof Daniel Bryan couldn't even save himself!

GIVE ME A HECK YEAH

HECK YEAH

"Oh look at this bald idiot! Thanks for dressing up, Austin, you stupid yokel. I don't get what the big deal is with this moron, he claims that he'll "Open up a can of whoop" on any superstar that gets in his way and yet he wears that ugly camouflage hunting gear. Who are you trying to hide from? The man is a hypocrite coward!

*Miz's music hits*

"YES! GET 'EM MIZ! Finally, a superstar with class!"

There was one part of the dream where Scott was leaning out the window with a lasso, except it wasn't a lasso it was a noose. He kept trying to grab me with it, so I grabbed it while they had stopped to turn around, tied it to a pole, and ran away. Daniel Bryan kept yelling "GET TO THE ARENA, MAN! I'LL SEE YOU THERE!"

Strangest dream I've had in a while.

You can't write this stuff.

I need to make this a storyline in WWE '12

I politely disagree. Prior to joining DX they ruined LOD's legacy by taking their tag belts and making LOD look foolish throughout the entire feud.

NOA even fought Cactus Jack and Chainsaw Charlie in a Dumpster Match the night before NOA joined DX. Joining DX definitely helped NOA, but if they never joined I am certain the wrestling world would still have poped for "Oh, you didn't know?"

You have good points - I think I'm lacking in my post-singles career footage of them and pre-DX footage - all I remember were those godawful Jesse James concerts...

I'm thinking back, watching Taker do his old school walk, and does anyone remember seeing him EVER botch it? I don't.

I remember watching him do it back in 1995 when he was feuding with the Million Dollar Corporation when I first really got into WWF, my mind was just blown at how a guy that size could be that agile and able to walk the ropes like that

If you had said VKM would have been nothing without DX, I would say you were very right. lol

Just watched Memphis Heat. Holy shit that was awesome.

Yeah, I watched it about a month ago. Great documentary that doesn't seem to be getting the attention it deserves. The documentary is great and some of the extras on the disc are too. It's crazy seeing how far some of these guys took it back in the day.
