God dammit. I can't believe it. I thought we were over this.
Apparently not .
Yeah, subversus is quite reliable, and this looked like a major newspaper, so something seemed wrong with the denial.
Although it does make you wonder why they denied it in the first place.

Could've been anyone posting from that account. Could be a disgruntled employee wanting to confuse matters.Although it does make you wonder why they denied it in the first place.
I'm guessing the person who runs the Twitter is a separate marketer who might not have received the news at the same time as everyone else.
it's plausible the employee didn't know it was 100% certain they were closing yet and was learning just now for the first time like the rest of us.

No! No! Nooooo!
Please CD Projekt Red buy them or something, please, please, please....
I'm still confused by the reason for the closing. I read the OP but it doesn't make much sense to me.
The government wants their money?
No! No! Nooooo!

WTF! brb, trying to get confirmation from a friend there...
I don't know much about the Stalker series. I got a code with a processor or a video card for Stalker: Call of Pripyat. Spent all of 15 minutes on it before I closed it and uninstalled. That game was just baaad. Are the other Stalker games better?
I agree. RIP games.Well, gaming had a good run. Sort of.
No reason to go on.

That's just insane to me--I can't wrap my head around that. There's a lot of corruption in some Eastern European countries, so some branch of Ukraine's law enforcement wants to make cash off of their work and has the authority and/or power to take them over and get it.
I get the sad picture, of someone walking up to his cubicle with the news a few seconds after he posted on Twitter.
Quite possibly the last PC game of it's ilk. We will never see a title like that ever again.
