Landon Collins is a bigger story than Penn State's newest hire.

Edit: Can't believe that coach isn't going to be there for Penn State's big Jan. 13th recruiting weekend. He better watch out - Ohio State & Rutgers are looking to pick at the carcass that is Penn State's recruiting class.

Collins had a good pick
Cyrus had a good pick
Amari Cooper hauled in a great 75 yard TD pass (and ran a punt back for a touchdown...though the Black Team really didn't bother to attempt to play that down)
Reggie Ragland was all over the place
Eddie Williams injured a QB (though honestly, looked out of place at times, and had some poor tackling. Good thing he's going to play on Offense)

I didn't hear much of Dakota Ball or Brandon Greene. Hoping Alabama can hold off UGA and Florida on the DT Jenkins. Chris Black didn't play, but he's supposed to be really good (and an early signee)


Marcus Maye and Poole (Florida commits) had some great plays. So did a few FSU players.

Some Bama Fans don't even remember the ones that signed last year. Sylve, Woodson and Shinn were all 4 star WR's. Here's to at least 1 of those contributing next year.

I was talking more about Bama picking up some commits at the game. I should've clarified, though. My bad.

EDIT: I thought Winston looked solid. But he's either going to the MLB, or signing with you guys.

Didn't they all redshirt? I don't recall seeing any of them this season. Losing Maze and Hanks, so somebody is going to need to step in. And what's up with Duron Carter now? Anything on him?

He's got Zero Connection to Penn State, and odds are none of the current staff will stay.

I know most college's have done it this way for a long time, but that's a big culture shock to Penn State and it's fans. It's going to be an icy reception.

Shaq Thompson committed to Cal :( We were always a longshot, but I had held out hope that the new D staff could work some SEC voodoo magic. Sounds like we're in the lead for Brandon Beaver though, so all is not lost.

Yeah, I know we had offered. Boise State guy right?

Still, Saban's process means anyone can be OC. We run and throw screens and passes to TE.

Should go after Stanford's OC :p All TE's, All the Time.

More or less, but it sounded like he was still looking at other options until now. Word is that WR Jordan Payton is coming, too.

Should be a good class overall, and it's nice to get some positive news after seeing that schedule for next season.

Wasn't even interested in the game tonight until I heard Gus was calling it. May have to tune in just for that. The guy can make watching paint dry seem like a near death experience.

Nothing done. Pease is visiting today, according to ISU sources. He also has to visit Bama, but they are perceived to be a long shot in comparison to UF. The sites seem to think he will likely take it, but nothing is set yet.
