That sounds like pretty much the perfect way for this whole thing to go down.

Then Leon has to use a jetski to lure Wesker under a boulder that Chris is punching towards a cliff.

If the partner thing pans out, two-player co-op would seem to be a lock. Between RE4 and RE5 for tone would be just fine so long as the rail shooter sequences, like those from RE5, go away. Wonder if the control scheme will change.

People keep mentioning the game will go up against Halo 4. Is there reason to believe that will launch in Nov as opposed to earlier like the last few Halo games?

It is true that RE 5 overdoing the cover shooter stuff is just one of many ways it was inferior to RE 4, it just wasn't that big of a stretch or a surprise to me.

I never knew or I completely forgot that RE4 had those parts. I only recently noticed when I played the PSN release.

Or they could just make new characters.

RE5 partially sucked because it carried the baggage of the previous games. Have the same Chris/Leon crew or whatever, but leave the convoluted plot behind.

I'm still hyped for this game, but taking after RE4-5 and is really worrying to me.

As long as there isn't forced Co-op and it has zombies, GOTF.

We reached out to Capcom to confirm whether or not the posters are real and they told us that they don't comment on rumors or speculation and have nothing to say at this time.

Resident Evil 6 is expected to be revealed via a viral site at 2:00 PM PST today.

It would be nice if this turned out to be a good game. If it's better than Resident Evil 5, which is, in my opinion, crap, then I'll be happy.

I would like to hope that it turns out to be a great game like Resident Evil 4, but then I would be setting myself up for disappointment.

It's only fair that the female RE fans get their eye candy. That and Wesker is pretty popular in (U)MVC3, cheap character that he is.

Since when is Wesker female eye candy? I would have figured that the combo of Chris and Leon have that covered.
