Hmm.. well, I was really digging it until it turned into Gears of War. Then it turned into some other action game. I dunno, it looks like they're mixing different types of play for different characters, maybe it'll work, maybe not.

The trailer gave me the impression of someone who is creatively bankrupt and tries to just shoehorn as many popular game-styles as possible into his game. So, if you copy everything that's popular people have to love your game, right?

The blonde girl running around with the bald guy both looks and sounds exactly like Ashley. Because it is Ashley.

RE5 played better. People just liked the horror elements more in RE4.

Being able to strafe was nice, but it didn't make it play better to any significant degree. And the downgrades in atmosphere, pacing, boss fights and inventory management plus forced single-player co-op outweighed that by a lot.

I played the entire game co-op and that's a big part of what made it shit.

The lesson was "don't buy games that claim to be survival horror but include mandatory co-op and not a single legitimate scare in the entire game."

After watching the trailer I am excited for this game but I can already say I wish they would scrap then entire Chris Redfield part. Chinese people are not scary, just like spanish people and African's were not. The parts with Leon looked awesome, amazing even but the Chris parts looks like more RE5 and to a lesser extent RE4 both of which were not scary.

What? I like my Paul Mercier. His voice is tied to my favorite RE character and one of my favorite games of all time (RE4). Of course I want him to take up the role again.

I don't got that kind of massive enemies in nearly every other game nowadays.
Therefore I would be fine without them but well still not enough infos to be hyped or not.

Whatever floats your boat, man. I happen to love the grotesque monstrosities in RE games, and there looks to be no shortage of that here. Add in gameplay that is finally more modern and all I see is an incredibly fun game. Beings fun is kind of the point, you will get no complaints from me.

RE5 didn't claim to be survival horror. it was clearly a co-op game. *shrug*. twas a great co-op game too. wasn't exactly what i wanted as a follow up to RE4, but i very much enjoyed it for what it was.

I jumped so often between "THIS IS SO AWESOME" and "THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS".

Really, really want to see what it's going to be like, some parts looked really interesting gameplay wise (like shooting while lying on the ground).

RE5 didn't even let you fight the regular Gigante on foot. Turret battle for sure.
