Can't wait to pick my Vita up this/next week! Never owned a PSP and seeing the MASSIVE amount of amazing titles PSP titles on PSN store makes my face very happy. Syphon Filter, Tactics Ogre, Castlevania, Final Fantasy (will pick up some classics like FF VII, IX), Persona 3 and Persona 4 Golden in future... MAN!

Dammit... Amazon got me. I ordered Rayman, Uncharted and Lumines on the B2G1. So I guess I'll have 7 games at launch to play. Man, I've never seen a launch like this.

Amazon always ships "release date" stuff the day before the street date with overnight shipping. The games shipped because they are past their release date anyways. I wouldn't worry about it.

You can deactivate all systems on the account and just reactivate the ones you have.
I have played tennis worked perfectly fine. With FIFA I tried once and did not find an opponent

That's kind of the point of that site. It allows you to deactivate without having the system present.
Even if that were true, you know games will come out that will be head to head. Especially those god forsaken FPS games that are still all the rage.
Other games could get patched with online play, like with Ragnarok odyssey.

Then you need to use the "deactivate all" option on the website. You can only do this once every 6 months tho, so I wouldn't do it unless you need to.
Never played the silent hill one but Corpse party is pretty good is a a visual novel with a bit of gameplay.

Can someone tell me if I own Wipeout HD on the PS3 does that mean I do not need to purchase Wipeout 2048 as I will get it free?

My only issue is that I have a $50 Target giftcard which is making me antsy on the whole deal. I know if I wait until Wednesday then everything will be sold out on Amazon.

I just put money down at Gamestop for a Wi-Fi Vita, and picked up Asphalt Injection. I'll pick up an 8GB memory card when I get my system, and I have Super Stardust Delta downloaded to my PS3, ready to be transferred.

You don't get the game for free, if you own Wipeout HD AND Wipeout 2048, you get some HD tracks to race on in 2048 in the near future for free. Nothing else.

You would be better buying Burnout for PSP than Asphalt Injection and you will want a 16gb it fills up fast with DLC/patches and other crap!
Its based on the game, but Wifi is real time communication with normal latency. Still won't work over 3G because the latency will suck.

The grind gets really bad.
And the difficulty is really unforgiving - even though it looks like it's a casual approachable game.
It doesn't explain anything to you really. You'll have to go learn yourself. It's not really a game for beginners or someone new to the franchise.
But I'm a beginner and new to the franchise and casual and I'm still having fun with it, although it can get frustrating. I guess it depends how much tolerance and patience you have.
EDIT: It's not about whining or "being a baby". If you're the type of person who would get mad at ruining 30 minutes of playtime with one bad shot, this game will make you cry. You can literally play a perfect game and ruin it all with ONE bad shot.

Hmmm..so this sounds pretty bad imho. I mean, you cant play Wipeout with other players at the same time? Cant play a FIFA match against someone? You cant play tennis against another person? Cant race against others in Ridge Racer? If this is accurate isnt that kind of backwards?

Only saw 3 things where firmware issue was mentioned. All of which were not frequent issues. Plus I would rather it be a firmware issue than a hardware issue. Firmware can at least be fixed.
Alright folks I just backed out. Was gonna sell my 3ds and decided not to, was gonna use amazon credit I have sitting there that would put my cost at a whopping 9.98 but then I found this

If Sony were selling at a loss I would feel safeguarded against price drops but they have $100 wiggle room on the 3g model no less. Screw that. Not getting 3ds'd again. I'll wait and see what goes down in the next few months. Enjoy gentlemen.

I am seriously considering trading in my 8gb memory stick day one for a 16gb (Damn Sony for not selling 32). I figure if I get roughly £20 for the memory stick I should only have to pay £10 for the 16gb if I use existing credit.

I dunno what to say... was there any head to head online play like that for games day 1 for the other consoles/portables? It's not a step forward but it isn't necessarily a step backward either. Sorry.
