Sony has dropped out of OLED market TV wise because the Koreans got a big start on it. Sony is now going to push CLED.
Hoping my Tax return comes in today. if it does I think im gonna break down and get a Vita
I don't have a huge problem with his perspective. Everyone's sort of making the same points with respect to system cost, game cost, memory stick cost (my personal favorite), smart phone popularity, etc.
But I must say I HATE the pseudo-political coverage of using reader polls as analysis. Game coverage is too obsessed with sales numbers as it is, now they're going to add polls? In contrast to all the incredible things happening in gaming, the "Enthusiast Press" is increasingly stagnant in their coverage.

I just got lucky in that tournament. And I played it way more than anyone else there. It's the only game I have for the Vita right now and I got it like five days earlier than everyone else.
I bet I would do poorly if we played again. My best score ever is like -6. It was some miracle that game that let me somehow get -18.
Same here and I go way back.
Holy Moly way over 1 million views and massive post counts. VITA is alive and kicking. Haters am cry.

This launch is unbelievable. The worst game I own from it, Little Deviants, I feel is actually underrated. The best game I own from it, is, well, about 6 games all tied for being amazingly awesome.

Nah it uses the game card for save. The cover doesn't say Memory Card required.
160 mb is probably something from digital downloads.
I spent like all my points on lobby avatar stuff. I always completely fall for dress up features in games.
Colour should change if you log out then back in. This lets you have "unique" colours that the PS3 people don't get. No picture though.
Good thing HSG Vita doesn't charge microtransactions lol.
I feel the same about dress up features. I usually dislike games if I can't customize my character's appearance or change outfits somehow.
I'm thiiiiiiiis close to cancelling my 3G/Wifi order and doing the Wifi-only with 4GB card on Amazon instead. Tell me what to do GAF!!!!

I would really like to see Vita games actually hit the Top 10 NPD chart, I don't remember this ever happening for PSP games (obviously it's happened at some point)
That would be pretty awesome, although unlikely to be sure.

NPD does not track digital sales. I think that alone makes it doubtful.

so update on my freezing/locking situation. It seems that when I am home and connected to the wifi no matter how hard i try I can't get the thing to lock up like it did earlier today. This was before doing the update.
We are all brothers in the handheld club at the end of the day.
She is a gamer but not in the same league as us. She goes on to talk about the controls in Uncharted 3 in reference to the VITA's UC control so she's not a poser like some reviewers.
Yeah, she does play games and knows how to play decently, but I kind of cringed every time she called Golden Abyss "Uncharted 3" lol.

Wifi Vita is 25th for 2012, which is one behind Mass Effect 3 which has had 400k preorders this year if you want to get all scientific.
It's gonna do 700k+ folks!

I'm in Japan using pocket Wifi playing Fifa online against Captain N who's in the States, we're both using party chat with no issues what-so-ever, what makes it more amazing is the other dude who joined our party chat was playing Wipeout2048 online. It's nuts to think a handheld is capable of such things, what makes it more amazing is that the PS3 is unable to do this. Welcome to the future.
Mine still hasn't shipped and I'm on release-day delivery. Pretty sure it'll be fine though. I'm in the US btw.

Yeah me too - NYC. I hope so. The other site I got a deal on hasn't shipped the games and memory card yet, which also annoys me. That, and I'm curious to see if Lockerz actually ships the other games I purchased
I wasn't a fan of Army Corps of Hell my first time playing, but it's slowly growing on me.
The only thing that really turns me off about the game is the death metal rock the whole time playing.
