bLeek can't have Silencer?

NP he'll pick Leshrac instead.

Well, here's hoping he doesn't reproduce his Leshrac massacre from yesterday.

What console commands do you guys use?

Didn't use them before but thinking about enabling console to check ping and also maybe get the right click deny command and the range indicator.

makes me think that Dota 2's cosmetics will be sorta similar to TF2. I'd wager that after every matchmaking game a crafting component will drop and you will have to trade and/or find a certain number of components to make cosmetic items. i.e. Furion's Swag Cloak will take 10 magic sticks and 5 magic acorns to craft, or you can buy it right now for $4.99 in the store.

Does that sound logical or stupid?

I'm not one to doubt Absolute Legends, but wtf at this draft. Did the ginger bans from Quantic put snoopy on the back foot through this whole draft?

What I can see is eating Chen's creeps (Chen's creeps get bonus HP which = bonus hp and damage for Clinkz) and then killing off Chen and everyone else. Or something. But DS is a huge problem.

don't ever play with milkman then, he'll make an asshole out of you!
It's true. I used to be a nice guy, then I started playing with milk.

Now I'm a salty trash talking tryhard.

Is it a random you've never seen before? Ignore at first sign of annoyance. Play happier :D
Not sure it wasn't entirely my fault...the viper that was laning with me got chased down and ganked..I didn't bother helping as I was low on health and out of mana as tide..then proceeded to bitch me out in chat and voice..the funny thing was that he rage quit at the end even though we won by a lot..

I think so too, I would like that actually. It would be even funnier if you would randomly find the actual items on the ground.

this dota_force_right_click_deny 1 doesn't work for me.
besides someone said that for ranged unit it's bugged.
I would love that btw if it works.

I think Haly was telling you to watch the replay and see what happened.
Right, I didn't make that completely clear.

What you should take from that replay:

- The 00:00 treant trick, which is basically casting treants from fountain and sending them to creeps, restoring all your mana, and then following. If you do it right, you should be able to do one of the hard camps at level 1 with a total of 4 treants.
- Treant micro. You should keep them alive as long as possible. Whenever one is nearly dead, move them away so the creeps switch targets.
- Basilus + Clarities, and using courier to deliver more clarities as needed
- Once I have sprout and teleport, I try to keep an eye out for potential ganks. Some people only put one level into treants in order to maximize their ganking potential, I wanted to play a safer farm game.
- Rush midas. The sooner you can get it, the more benefits you'll reap
- Using "S" to cancel teleports and repositioning it.
- Using Force of Nature AWAY from your intended targets. What you want it to do is to build up damage as it leaps from creep to creep, using it directly is a pitiful excuse for a nuke.
- Using tree to keep people away from your allies, this was especially important since they had Axe.
- Split pushing. With a 20 second cooldown, you can afford to push a different lane with treants in order to maximize your team's chances of destroying a tower.
- Item build. Midas into Sheepstick is a safe build. I could've went Aghanim, I certainly had the gold for it. But Aghanim is mostly a farming tool and our team was struggling.

Things I didn't do that I shouldve done:
- Pulling top to help invoker.
- Rosh earlier.
- Do ancients once I have level 3/4 treants.
- Ancient pulling with treants.

I'm now confused as to what exactly was going on in that game with all the quelling blades. Did you decide to just fuck around from the get-go, or were you actually trying to do something for real and just fucked it up so bad you gave up?

I liked it when HyunA got first blood.

What is there to be confused about?

We were trying to chop our way to their fountain. If Hyuna wasn't being Hyuna that game we wouldn't have had to play CM we would've had some sick Tiny + Spec + Mirana tech where Spec daggers her way into their base then Tiny begins tossing people at her one after another.

And I personally think you shouldn't ult to farm unless you're sure your team don't need gold as much as you. This pushes most of the lanes away from the safer areas and takes out gold from your team as you probably won't kill all creeps but let most of them on low health and your own creeps will take that.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I stopped ulting halfway through the game.

Mask of Madness Invoker on the enemy team in my last game.

lolwat?

Yeah I thought you might be going for the fountain at first... but then you just sat outside their base forever. Man up! :D

I seem to remember a while ago someone posting about a variable you can adjust in console that will show you a cone for where certain skills will hit (like QoP's ultimate) where it wouldn't otherwise. Does anyone remember that variable?

MoM + Alacrity + level 7 exort == ?????????????????

Yeah that's pretty much it. "I went auto-attack Invoker. Are you fucking stupid?" Good times.

He was so enraged at Skeleton King bottom lane for not having enough farm, even though he didn't even try to gank until like 12 minutes into the game. Me (AA) and my lane partner (BH) were completely shutting SK down, too. When he started calling his team out in all-chat, I pointed this out, and he challenged us all to a 5v5. He must have some pretty good players as friends if he thinks he can win in a 5v5. U:

I'd rather see a MoM invoker than any more of that Q+W four spell invoker phaseboots/drums/eul mindless copypasta. 99% of them just hurt my brain. Please stop... Learn to think for yourselves people. Otherwise you'll never be anything above incredibly mediocre -_-

I'd argue that's false, however you can't become the best player in the world while playing like that.

For me it's 4/5/4 with force and agha on lvl 17 or bust.

Just played Brood for the first time, man that's fun to do. I dunno how we lost, we were 10 kills ahead and had 1 more tower then they did. But for some reason they had a Rikki and Lifestealer at level 20+ while our entire team was around level 17/18.

Did they jungle hard or something? They had amazing farm and really high gpm. I was too busy playing brood for the first time to notice what was going on besides my own lane, so I have no idea how they got so farmed up.

With slow attack speeds like Sven, what's the best method to last hit? I've seen another player who looks like they keep swinging until the last minute but I haven't been able to copy that.

They hit "S", which issues a stop command. If you have auto attack on, your hero will automatically try to attack the last target you selected. So when you see heroes wigging out, their players are mashing "S" until the creep's hp is low enough for their attack to kill it.

As for Sven... I'm not sure what to tell you. He has an average attack animation, not fast, but not particularly slow either. It might be the animation itself that's messing with you. I suggest you just keep trying until you get the timing down. Quelling Blade also helps.

I got to give Bane a try earlier in practice against bots. I have one question about him.

How exactly are you supposed to use Nightmare? It does seem useful as a stun, but nobody on your team can attack the enemy without getting stunned themselves. That seems almost pointless, and the damage done isn't really enough to make a difference.

It's just general CC. Keep them in place, focus on the easier hero to kill, etc. Good escape mechanism as well. If you can control a hero during a team fight, that's big enough. Too bad bkb renders Bane useless mid to late game.

Thanks Haly. In situations where I'm in a lane against range I'm not great with dealing with harassment so my last hit timings suffer.

BKB renders a lot of heroes "useless" late game (except it's more like, BKB means Bane no longer targets that particular hero and switches to someone else instead). Sucks that his ult is channeling though, but a 6~ second disable that goes through BKB and steals their mana is no joke. Nightmare is pretty good at taking an enemy out of a fight or saving one of your friends from being autoattacked to death. Enfeeble rocks on enemy carries. And brain sap gonna brain sap.
