Anybody know a good place to get a decent N64 controller? All of mine have "dead" analogs.

What exactly is wrong? N64 controllers are pretty easy to take appart, clean and reassemble. I've had to fix the analog sticks on mine before.

Having 3D anywhere on a system where you're already frequently switching your focus up and far away to the tv and down and near to your hands would basically kill your entire head. I don't care how tolerant you are of the effects of 3D display, that sort of focal swapping combined with 3D would be disastrous.

The gamecube was definitely my fave hardware. Shit was flawless.

I agree GameCube was an amazing piece of hardware, especially being that the chips were designed in the late 90s.

shame on me I love both Apple and Nintendo but

Lol, the antenna was for wifi obviously... and i figured for the best possible wifi connection in a gameconsole, you'd want it to be external, maybe be able to aim it a bit. I remember at that time there was a lot of talk about how Wifi was not suitable for online gaming.

That's third party.

There's some real N64 controllers still on ebay, but it's next to impossible to find them new. My transparent blue controller was from Japan, and was in damn near mind condition. It legitimately felt weird when I got my hands on a N64 analog stick that wasn't flimsy as fuck.

I don't plan on playing Mario Party with that controller any time soon, lol.

Nintendo needs to snag up THQ and turn things around
