Halo |OT2| Hyper-Athletic Speed And Mass And Weight and Power

hahahahaha This is the first time Fyre's sarcastic reply has ever made me laugh.
Multi-team was only ever good when they had maps to supply, like Warlock and Foundation. It's otherwise terrible.

Good news for Arena. Wish they had removed some maps in the process (Enclosed is god-awful). BTB and Objective should have gotten some (better) changes. Cragmire and Delta were garbage, no need to reintroduce them.

It's a new ad of sorts, obviously reuses visual id from E3.

You won't have to wait all that long for new info. A gang of sleeps.
Stringer Bell: You know what subtle means?
Shamrock: Laid back and shit.

I can't find Fyrewulf's post, but

On April 1, we will begin increasing Halo: Reach File Share capacity from 6 slots to 24 slots at no extra charge. This will also take place in waves, and the process is expected to last several days. We thank you in advance for your patience as we work to give this expanded access to all Halo: Reach players.

Seems to suggest silver accounts too?

Firefight and Invasion need some love, but I'm glad 343i is being proactive about tweaking everything else.

My only real question with the File Share is if there's going to be any way to get our screenshots on to a computer without a capture card before the summer web launch. Anyone smarter than me give me the answer to that one?

No. Fyrewulff might though.

So I didn't have much time to work on the BR today, but got some work done on the scope and it's rail, plus the top of the stock. I might be able to finish the Highpoly by the weekend.

You're going to need a capture card or a steady camera with the flash disabled. Recent screenshots will stop updating on the 31st, so they're stuck in whatever queue there is until 343's stuff goes live.

At least we'll have in-game file shares so some nice people could offer to capture screenshots for people. The best they can do is 720p native shots though (1080p will just be the stretched 720p image), you'll have to wait until 343's stuff goes up to get the super-rendered ones.

Yeah, that seemed to hint that everyone gets them. It would certainly be the easier method of doing it (just assigning every single gamertag the Bungie Pro flag), but I'll keep my expectations in check. If we can make 24 slot silver mule accounts though, the blackout file collection just got a lot easier.

Shit man, thats some good work. You need a job at 343. You got a link somewhere to more stuff of yours?

U can no haz low-gravity on Warhouse.

Best news I've heard tonight.

Poop, 343i is not going to be at PAX :(

So probably no Halo 4 news during then =\
Hopefully soon!

Worst news I've heard tonight.

Halo Bulletin said:
If you are a fan of small-team, close-quarters combat, or you love wreaking havoc with effective, close-range infantry weapons, Warhouse is for you. If you’re not a fan of small-team, close-quarters combat, or you don’t love wreaking havoc with effective, close-range infantry weapons, Warhouse is still for you. You’ll see. In Holiday 2012, of course. :)

Most intriguing news I've heard tonight.

What could it mean? Better more deletable/forgeable geometry than Reach? Something gameplay related that lets you change the map layout? Multiple map variants from the same level? Or maybe she's just saying default Warhouse also has wide open spaces outside...

Those concept art wallpapers are gorgeous.

I'd say she's just saying that while there are close quarters areas, there are also long sightlines too. Think Lockout or Guardian?

I just accidentally went to Bungie.net to read the bulletin. Halo not being a Bungie thing still throws me off sometimes.

Probably, but I feel like they've been making subtle hints at a new feature or something that will have a big impact on how a map plays. I got the same feeling after some of the Xbox Showcase interviews with Frank.

Oh well. I'm off to sleep, gang.

Maybe the increased payout for the Sabre was a hint that you'll be able to fly around the orbital station in a starfighter and shoot people on the low-grav exterior areas.

Yeah, I definitely got this impression, too.

Also: Uncaged and Pinnacle being removed from SWAT is my highlight of the bulletin.

PS: Make SWAT zero bloom.

It would be so awesome if they just made title update go to all playlists.
Then just get rid of super slayer and squad slayer, put all that love into Arena.

Because now what is the difference between normal reach and tu reach?
Less bloom, and balanced armor lock/camo?

I think you mean slightly less offensive. Slightly.

Arena will be so much better with Jetpack gone. Sprint and Holo only will make for a much less frustrating experience. Now please remove obnoxious Forge maps like Enclosed. Such a terrible map.

AL is fixed as far as I'm concerned. Camo just needs to be removed in favor of a power-up on the map.

Thinks the Evil Empire is just misunderstood.
Naw, you're right. They really need to change Wraparound's name, though.

Wraparound is a codename as well. We chat about that a little bit in the podcast we recorded this afternoon.

Edit: Codenames have been known to stick on occasion. :)

ETA before next week Thursday please. (Want to listen to some stuff on my flight) =)

Edit.: And damn. the Warhouse concept art is amazing.

Edit.: Is it allowed to use an Halo 4 artwork(the Warparound) as a cover image at Facebook?

Wraparound really sounds like a placeholder; I do hope it's revised to something more evocative of it's setting.

My favorite code name to stick (among anything) remains Saturn.

Also: one final nudge this month that Firefight still exists, and still hasn't been updated in forever. :(

Hmm...
Am I the only one that's alright with the name Wraparound? I didn't care for it at first, but I'm warming up to it.

In text it looks alright, but I can imagine when saying to your friends "vote for BRs on Wraparound", it will just sound kind of off.

No offense to 343, but Wraparound just gives me the impression that they had to start making up strange and unconventional names because the ones that would describe a heavenly-looking map were taken over the years for (terrible) forge maps and subsequently cliched to death.

Sweet. Give it a heavenly yet sinister name.

Sweet. Give it a heavenly yet sinister name.

Considering how deep Halo is into Norse terminology (Mjolnir, Valhalla, etc.)...

Gungnir: Odin's Spear. Considering how the level seems to be a huge ivory spire piercing the clouds...

Asguard: The Capitol of the Gods.

Aesir: The 'race' of the Gods. Sounds cool though.

Personally, I like the first one, and I actually had a Forge concept using that name. Asguard should probably be kept for the inevitable Valhalla remake.
