There are an amazing number of scanned AR cards online. I don't understand how people have this many of these. I guess most are EU.
It does kind of irk me that the only in-game ways to learn what subweapons do are trial and error and idol collection.
EDIT: Power-up Drop is INVINCIBILITY??? Why did they call it that?

Use claws or clubs. Dash forward and quickly jerk the stick in the opposite direction while pressing the attack button.

I'm not sure if I'd rank it that high, but its definitely the freshest Nintendo title for me since the original Super Mario Galaxy

Agreed except for the Ocarina part.
In my own personal opinion, It's easily in my top 5 favorite games.
1. Halo 3 (I have probably 40+ days of total in game play time in the multiplayer on my main account alone)
2. Kid Icarus: Uprising
3. Pokemon Series (I really can't choose between one or the other
)4. Batman Arkham City (I love Batman)
5. Fallout 3 (I loved Fallout 3, played it nonstop), or Red Dead Redemption
Kid Icarus is just a game that I will be playing for a long time, the sheer amount of content is incredible and keeps you coming back.

Kid Icarus is just a game that I will be playing for a long time, the sheer amount of content is incredible and keeps you coming back.
For me, picking a favourite game is like picking a favourite child; I'll feel guilty no matter what I pick.
Here are a list of some games that I personally consider to be the best, in no particular order:
Pokémon series (My first ever game was Pokémon Blue, so this series holds a special place in my heart, amazing gameplay and sprawling amount of content nonwithstanding)
Shadow of the Colossus (I've played through this game 40+ times over 3 different releases. Seriously.)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (I love just about everything about this game, even the 2-hour-long cutscenes and the so-called "scrappy mechanics.")
Batman: Arkham City (Jawdropping. Even as a huge Batfan, I enjoyed this game WAY more than I probably should have)
Phoenix Wright series (These games were a big part of what inspired me to become a writer. This is a series that I reccomend to just about everyone with a DS)
---Sub-entry: Ghost Trick (I thought this game was better than Mass Effect 2. So sue me.)
Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (I played the death out of MvC2 in arcades, so I just about had a heart attack when the vanilla version of this game was announced. Ultimate is here instead because Phoenix Wright.)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (THIS GAME)
Team Fortress 2 (The only shooter I've gotten really into. The frequent updates always help make this game feel minty fresh)
Elite Beat Agents (I played this game nonstop until I got A's or S's on every song. Buy this game. Please? Convince Nintendo that a sequel is feasible! [and to all of you who will inevitably chime in; I have both of the Ouendan games])
Rhythm Heaven series (Funny, addictive and tough-as-nails, this is a series that I personally believe is WAY underappreciated)
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (If I had my way, every console Zelda would have WW's graphics. Come at me, haters)
Honourable mentions: Aliens: Infestation, Gunstar Super Heroes, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, Megaman Battle Network series, Saints Row 3, Prototype, Infamous 2, No More Heroes 2
Wow, that ended up being way longer than I expected, and I STILL didn't get to mention some games!
Well huh. Just tried to do the
thing. I guess my Viridi palm must have been piercing through him for damage or something, because I'm 100% sure I never attacked it but I didn't get it. Just a few more things and I'll be done with the treasure hunt, though these last few may in fact take some doing. I guess it mostly comes down to how long it takes me to learn how to consistently dash-melee.

That's the same way I feel as well. It's hard for me to make a top 5, because there's so many games i'd put into it. But right now, as it currently stands, I do place Kid Icarus in my top 5.
Will the hype die down eventually? Yes
Will it get knocked out of my top 5? Maybe
But for now that's just how I see it. I haven't had this much fun with a game in a long time, and it was a breath of fresh air for my nintendo 3ds considering I didn't play it for almost three months.
Same here! My grandparents got me Pokemon Blue and my parents got me Pokemon Red. I got them in the 1st or 2nd grade I think. Didn't really play games at all up until that point, except for watch my dad play Duke Nukem. So Pokemon pretty much helped me become a gamer.
Yah I'm not even sure the single player is better than Star Fox 64 (note SF64 is my favorite rails shooter). The on foot portions aren't too rockin when compared to the splendor that takes place in the air. All rage mode > on foot missions.

i respectfully disagree, to me the on-foot part of this game is the most amazing, but i enjoy both : )
and just to add to the chorus: this game is amazingly good. i haven't even started online play yet, but the amount of content this game has, as well as how fun the core gameplay is, is a treat.

Stamina +4
Evasion +4 (what exactly does this affect)
Melee combo +4
Shot homing -2
I intentionally fused it with the shot homing -2 because I never use ranged attacks with claws and I hoped having a negative attribute would help boost the star rating
