Wow, I had absolutely no idea he was so well liked. I s'pose I agreed with some of his Soapboxes.

Even though he's pretty energetic and hyper-animated, he's always been pretty on the ball when it comes to the games as an industry and it's relationship with the mass media.

We need more advocates like him that don't sensationalize even the smallest, tangential relationships between events and gaming.

I think he'd actually be a great lobbyist type working for the EFF or even the ESA (if they stop being shitheads about SOPA-ish legislation.

I started watching when it was videogames all day long (g4techtv). Granted by this time people were pissed that is was no longer tech tv. Regardless, it was still fun watching for me.


Now you get Attack of the Show, Xplay...and Cops.

I think the only problem is he's probably looking for something that pays like G4 did and I doubt Giantbomb is going to do that for him. It'd be nice to see him there and especially on the Bombcast weekly but I dunno.

Took him long enough! I know there was probably a comfort zone and benefits for staying as long as he did but considering how much the rest of the network kept degrading, I can only see him finding something much better and rewarding.

Always liked Sessler as a personality, but couldn't stomach sitting through anything on that network so I didn't even bother trying to keep up with X-Play. I am a bitter TechTV fan and I will be until the day I die.

Morgan Web and Kevin Pereira both also date back from that era, and even earlier (Morgan from TechTV and Kevin from G4).

As for the TechTV thing, yeah what G4 did to it was total shit, but I really blame that one shift prior to the acquisition when it tried to become like a CNBC half the time right as the tech bubble burst as what really killed the network.

I remember the first time I randomly flipped to our new cable channel, TechTV and decided to see what this "Extended Play" show was. I haven't watched X-Play (Or G4 at all, for that matter) in years, but I have always liked Sessler. Honestly the whole network has been beneath him now for a while. Hope he ends up somewhere nice. He really is one of the best personalities in relation to video games.

Wow. G4's E3 coverage is gonna be insufferable. Usually Kevin/Morgan/Adam can do well enough and pull up the sucky person Olivia/etc, but I wonder how that's gonna work without Adam since he was clearly the smartest of the bunch, game-wise.

Him joining GT/GTTV would be awesome. Could definitely do some good since Keighley is pretty good at hosting/knowledge of video games as well. I doubt he'd want to share a stage with anyone though.

Let me it again: I really wouldn't be surprised if X-Play isn't around by the end of the year. This could easily give G4 the push to just abandon all gaming coverage and attempt to reinvent itself again.
