It seems they're closely associated with GSC, if not owned by GSC themselves. But the site layout confuses the fuck out of me, so I can't give you a 100% guarantee on that. It seems legit to me tho.

If the same guys are not going to be doing stalker they need to let the franchise die quietly. Traditional western developers, especially Bethesda, will never get close to reproducing the experience or essence of the original, if not only just because :target audience: and :money:

If it has gone to Bethesda I think they need to let Machine Games (old Starbreeze dev's) take care of the environments/writing and let id take care of the tech and gunplay.

Kickstarter is a possibility i have no doubt the devs can raise 2million if they wanted to. Also i don't like the idea of big publishers grabbing everything. Look at EA for example they have their grubby tentacles in everything that doesn't belong to them.

Also Bethesda has proven with the massive suings in the past 12 months that they can't be trusted.
