It's only fitting that Iwata is talking from the "Dokuso" room...Nintendo: putting the "kuso" in "kusoge".

Good stuff. I'm curious on the Avengers title that didn't get spoken of in detail from the trailer, but Scribblenauts sold me.

Only big things not present were Retro and Smash news. Other than that I think they had enough.

  • 2 NSMB games across 2 consoles
  • Scribblenauts Unlimited across 2 consoles
  • Zombi U
  • Nintendoland
  • Just Dance 4
  • Sing
  • Wii Fit U
  • Batman Archam City Armored Edition
  • Assassin's Creed 3
  • Trine 2 special edition
  • Rayman Legends
  • Paper Mario 3DS
  • Luigi's Mansion 3DS
  • Pikmin 3
  • Some kind of Avengers game
  • Tekken Tag 2 with Wii U mushroom tools or something
  • Lego City

And I think a few more. Got a ton of Mario stuff, some things for the casuals and health crowd Nintendo owns, Pikmin, and some good 3rd party stuff including ports with features exclusive to Wii U that aren't little tiny things, but pretty big gameplay changers like the armor and combat stuff in Arkham City.

What was missing? Retro, Smash, Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, Kirby, Pokemon, DK.

Yeah I wanted those things too, but geez give it a rest. They had a lot to talk about and they still have a huge 3DS conference to do later as well. Still had more than Microsoft/Sony did that appealed to me.

Definitely going to buy a wiiU at launch but probably only a couple launch games so far.
Nintendo will likely have a followup conference later this year with the real goods.
I like the tech.

You'd buy the next Nintendo console if it was a turd surrounded by plastic. Let's be honest here. What a turd of a conference.

As you can see the ghost is hidden

And that's how you play Nintendoland.

Out of SOny, MS, and Nintendo, Nintendo had the best conference, but that's saying very VERY little. All 3 sucked. I honestly can't understand how anyone would think other wise unless they are a fanatic of some sort.

Now's the part where Nintendo releases trailers and fact sheets for a dozen cool games that weren't featured in the conference, right? That's how it often goes with Nintendo.

Right?!

Heh, called it. At least a couple more significant titles.

Game & Wario and Project P-100

I was not happy with Sony's show yesterday at all and figured Nintendo would have an easy win but honestly my expectations were high and they fell extremely short. of the big three Sony wins in my book (though thats not saying much) other then that hats off to Ubi for the best show and to Naughty Dog for the best developer. Hopefully the 3DS games info tomorrow will at least be interesting.

Man, I'm glad I ended up sleeping through the conference. Other than Pikmin, it was a mess. I expected the other two to have mediocre conferences but you're launching a new console...and this is after the first mixed reception at last E3.

Not good Nintendo, not good at all. Glad Ubisoft was there to cover the big three's backsides because all of their conferences should have shown more.

LOL the stream went off-air halfway through Nintendoland bonus feature.

Don't you dare. Sonys was meme worthy with memorable stuff like Giant enemy crab and RIIIIIIIIIDGEEE RACER.

What did Nintendo have that compares to that?

I can't take anyone who scores MS above Nintendo as serious, almost 1hr on the HTPC that is the 360 and Usher was better than at least something you could play

Reggie is getting mad that Geoff is calling him out on such a poor showing. Thanks Geoff for saying what is right.

I missed most of the conference but...Jesus, sounds like it was horrible. I kind of want to see it now just for that reason.
