An actual Games on Demand sale next week! $4/$5 games! Finally Microsoft!

Maybe curious about Conan.

Never played a Ghost Recon game, is it worth my time?

@lucius, Dark Void was a decent game. I didn't regret it and I payed $7 for it.

Buy Surfs Up. It was a fantastic way to kill 5 hours. Nothing super deep or challenging, but it was just pure simple fun.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
Table Tennis, Prince of Persia and Kameo are all steals at $5.

i'm seriously considering virtua tennis and GRAW. aside from the dead online communities, any reasons why I shouldn't?

Ugh, I was just thinking about picking up the second Viva Piñata, why couldn't they have a sale on that? As is, I'll either try Kameo, or just skip this completely. Of GoD sales happened with some regularity this wouldn't be a problem, but since this is likely the only one we'll see this year, this is pretty disappointing.

If I wanted only one Virtua Tennis game in my library, would 2009 be the one to get?

Edit: Just for reference, I've only played VT 1 and 2 on the dreamcast and I really enjoyed those games. Don't know why I've passed up on the series this gen.

Couldn't even give us the first Viva Pinata? Had to be the party game. SMH Microsoft.

I was all set to exchange real currency for virtual currency to buy this, then I realized I had it mixed up with Trouble in Paradise thanks to your post. Sometimes the biggest let downs are the ones we create ourselves. Or the ones created by Microsoft :)

Thanks for saving my filthy lucre from the digitization process!

Uhm guys, Perfect Dark Zero is not worth any money. It will only frustrate the hell out of you. Stop recommending it. I fell for it a while ago and bought PDZ at 8 euros. I don't wanna rant so let's just say it's not a very good game.

No. I had the game 5 years ago and it was a ghost town back then. On top of this, most of the Achievments are tied to it's online componant.

Yes, there are most definitely still people play PDZ online. Most people playing now are farming achievements against bots, but it's better than nothing.

the default aiming settings and lack of auto aim made it horrible but once you put in good settings it was pretty fun....also zombies.

What am I missing here? Did the sale get taken down? The OP is very vague without even a link explaining it. (lol), indeed...

Titles worth buying for $5

Bionic Commando
Conan
Kameo
PDZ
Table Tennis
Superstar Tennis

And even then it's down to personal tastes.

Most of those games should be $5. I don't really consider this all that great of a deal. Still, it's a move in the right direction.

PDZ and Kameo are worth it for anyone who hasnt played them. I'll probably double dip on them just so i dont have to mess with the discs anymore

Will probably get Kameo and Viva Pinata, possibly Perfect Dark Zero as well if this sale is also in the Netherlands. I'm surprised to see people recommending Surf's Up, thought that was just some crappy tie-in game.

EDIT: Just looked on Major Nelson's blog, the game's are on sale in all regions where the games are available so that's nice.

Bomberman!? never knew there was one on 360 on demand. Probably would have got it when I had my 360. Is it any good?

I actually laughed when I read this post.
