I played a bit of... I think it was DMC2 on the PS2 back in the day, but it didn't really grab me. Not one to learn my lesson, I bought Bayonetta about two years ago, played the opening 5-10 minutes, and promptly forgot all about it.

Despite my apparent disinterest in the genre, I wouldn't say "no" to the Steam DMC games should they hit the $5 price point.

DMC2 is by far the worst in the series. It's sort of a running gag that DMC fans pretend it doesn't even exist.

Also, for this type of game you tend to get out of it what you put into it, sort of like with fighting games.

Yeah, I've learned as much from my cursory perusal of DMC/Bayonetta/etc. threads, haha.

ARMA2: Arrowhead is 20% on GMG today...

Use code: ARMA2-STICK-GNADE

Doesn't look like it's a steam code? It says on the page normaly when it's the case.

Correct: Bohemia games don't activate on Steam.

Playing Dragon's Dogma now, it would be nice if this came to the PC.

Yep. I mean, that can be said about any console exclusive, but as much as I'm enjoying the game, it's hard not to think about how much better it would be with a good image quality and framerate higher than 24fps (or less). Capcom were considering it at one point, seems like they could use the extra sales.

I hope they re-do the textures if it does, which they won't. But damn that is one ugly ass game and it's not even HD. Plus on PS3 it runs at about 24 fps and quest objects pop in after you've been standing there for 5 seconds already. Just a total mess of a game.

I'll probably get RE6 for Christmas or something. Dragon's Dogma looks badass and I'd take it on PC and I think they will bring it. If they bring Lost Planet and Dead Rising to PC, why wouldn't they bring this? Whether or not they'd find it profitable enough by their own estimation, they seem to be in bed with Microsoft to get as many GFWL games out as possible.

If i pre-order and gift someone else Quantum Conundrum now, will they still receive the pre-order items if they only activate it after it releases ? Want to gift the game + the items to a friend but he's away so he probably won't be able to accept the gift before it releases.

I have an addiction I have to admit too...

I am a Stronghold Kingdoms addict..

Ive spent $8 a week a for last the last 10-12 weeks...

I always made fun of people who got nickle and dimed on Facebook games and other F2P type things but this game has got me hooked like its crack.
Its almost like the Civ series mixed with a great online community aspect that makes you coordinate with peole and such and use diplomacy.

I have 3 towns, I'm the steward of our parish (Toome) and have a strangle hold on it so I can never be voted out, I have an army of thousands of archers, swordsman, pikeman, and catapults!!
I need Strongholds rehab lol.

Heres my little part of the map in northern Ireland. Perfect little spot on the edge of the province as well as excellent striking distance to attack Scottland or England. (my towns have the coat of arms I designed, irish colors wih a harp/flowers)

Enjoying Driver SF. Looks and runs great after the ENB mod, and it's genuinely fun to play. The shifting mechanic is both stupid and awesome :D

This is an interesting question which doesn't seem to have an official answer (it's certainly not clarified in the official gifting/trading FAQ), but based on the anecdotes I've read, yes, he should, as the subscription you've gifted is specifically a pre-order and flagged as such. If not, firing off an e-mail to Support should set things right.

Preorder'd Quantum Conundrum. Hopefully it doesn't suck. I wouldn't care if the story or any of the dressing wasn't as good or funny as portal, that's a pretty high bar. I'd settle for just a good puzzle game... nothing I've seen so far has convinced me that this has even that yet, so we'll see.

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
Just checked Steam's news section and thought Symphony of the Night somehow snuck on there. (Magicka DLC.) Yo, fuck those guys.

I can confirm this. I pre-ordered MP3 for a friend, and the pre-order included DLC + LA Noire. Gifted him the game on the day of release (kept it in my inventory until then), and he received all the bonuses (DLC added to the game, LA Noire added to his library) when activating it.

Great. :) After posting, I fired off an e-mail to Support asking for clarification, and also suggested that the question be added to the gifting/trading FAQ.

I'm sure many have said this before, and many have died trying, but...

I'm going to go through every game in my Steam Account and play it until I finish it, or in the case that its an open ended style game, played it until I no longer enjoy it.

I will do this alphabetically, starting... today with the aim to have finished before Summer Sale 2013 (providing we don't all explode in December).

Best of luck. I tried that as well some time ago and lasted a good 3 or 4 games.

Looks through Steam store catalog.

1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby)

You probably have that game from Potato Sack. Oh well, good luck on your plan!

Haha, 123 is precisely why I've never bothered with the idea. Even obtaining the potatoes was a pain in the arse.

I like it, although not sure it'd work for me.

I can't recommend enough Fate of Atlantis. One of the best adventure games. And for 2€ it's a steal.

I might bite... The Last crusade screenshots a bringing back a TON of memories. It was one of my first game on PC ever (back when I got my old XT computer in 1990). That's also one the thing that thgought me english lol.

Never played Atlantis but heard a lot of good things.

It's kind of odd the $10 package isn't on sale now. I feel like it's been $5 once or twice before, and I'm guessing it will be $5 or $7.50 during the summer sale.

Either now or during the summer sale though, I highly recommend the Fate of Atlantis. It's probably the adventure game I remember most fondly. When I was a kid people would give me computer parts for stuff like 386's and 486's so I could build my own systems, and some CDROM drive I got had the Fate of Atlantis CD already in it, so I got to play it then. <3 It's got witty dialog, an interesting plot, and maybe even some neat graphical design.

Grimm Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and The Neverhood are like the three games that presumably a fair number of people want to buy, but there must be some crazy license problem that's stopped them from ever being digital.
