Halo |OT8| A Salt on the Control Room

jesus tap dancing christ would you look at this motherfucker. Flawless hair, shirt that has both daww and pun, beautiful lips, defined neck lines, some sort of cord in his bathroom, not too tanned, team iphone. 10/10 would definitely bang.

And there's no case on his phone. He lives dangerously.

What's the daily cR cap at now? 240,000?

*does math*

That's 48 days of playing until the credit cap for me to hit Inheritor. And I've never hit the credit cap. That would make the game a job and not fun anymore.

I'm fine with just ending at Eclipse.

Here's what I would like 343 to do.

Go through the daily challenges, and pick one each week, and add an extra zero to the payout. Don't tell anyone what day it will be each week, or what kind of challenge they will be. Just plop that extra zero on there, once a week, for fun. Give everyone something to look forward to each week, a super charged challenge.

Trying to get Inheritor before H4.
Requires 100k credits/day. Any tips?

There's really no point in being an Inheritor, but if you really want to be one...

Custom challenges- ONI sword base all skulls except iron and blind heroic/legendary.

1-kill 200 grunt heroes

2- get 500 target locator kills

3- kill 150 Elites (whatever the highest rank is)

4- kill 200 skirmishers/jackals (whatever the highest rank is)

5- get 900 medals

Keep spamming those challenges until you hit credit cap. (play around with the settings to get each challenge worth 5000 credits.)

Make sure you get a checkpoint like half a second before the target locator hits the enemies.

There used to be a way to get passed the credit cap but I think you can't do it anymore. (used to get 1 mil each day on my second account.)

Alright thanks, I heard something about that, I'll try it.

I'm a completionist, not getting Inheritor would bug me honestly, even though I dislike Reach.

I've got about 1,500,000 cR till I hit Forerunner, and that's probably as far as I'll get.

That is the least they could do.

At this point I'd say fuck it and just add a zero on the end of every payout. The game has 3 months left in it's life. If anyone is stuck playing Reach after Halo 4 is out, they deserve to be credits rich anyway.

That'd be cool, or a general raise in payouts again, but I get the feeling that when they updated the playlists one last time, it was also the last time they were going to adjust payouts.

One last time before Halo 4. We'll see matchmaking updates for Reach at some point.

I wouldn't mind hitting max rank before H4 comes out. At this rate it won't happen but if they up the creds it just might.

One last time before Halo 4.

If Reach gets updated after Halo 4 comes out, it will be the first mainline Halo game updated after the next Halo came out in history.

Considering the support Reach got when the next game wasn't out yet, we're more likely to see Zelda release on the Xbox next year.

Didn't H3 get an update after Reach came out?

Last update to Halo 3 was 3 weeks before Reach came out. DEXPs appeared after that but they had all been rigged to appear as part of that update. And all they did of note in that update was delete Squad Battle.

Ah, didn't remember. In that case, I hope 343 shows more commitment.

I coulda swore when it was first unveiled there was no mention of it containing the game.

It only includes the standard edition, not the limited edition. If you're hardcore enough to buy a Halo themed console, chances are you are going to want the limited edition.

I'm holding off on another 360, I'd rather put the money towards the durango.

Distraction demand for canonical explanation of needler ammo refills

Those big chunks of blamite are loaded into the bottom section of the Needler, where they're split into individual needles and loaded into the top half. Or something. I don't know, it's cool and that's what matters.

(I really miss having ammo packs instead of only getting ammo from weapons themselves. Remember that extra set of rockets on Zanzibar? This worked great for ODST's Firefight, too.)
