If Superbot knows what's good for them, they'll add Cloud, or Sephiroth. If they add Lightning, a lot of people will be upset. Some will be happy, but a lot will be upset at the clear promotional meaning behind her inclusion. Her being an "all star" over Cloud or Sephiroth, two characters who basically defined RPGs on the PS1, would be blasphemy.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - her inclusion would just remind of the series fall from grace, and it's fall from Playstation exclusivity. Cloud or Sephiroth would remind us of an amazing classic that helped define the PS1.

And that's precisely why I do not want Lightning in this game. Now I actually quite enjoy XIII and XIII-2, and I like Lightning as a character. But purely by what she represents, I do not want her in this game.
If you're gonna have an FF character, it really needs to be someone from 7-12. Or if they are dying to cross promote, someone from Versus. Otherwise they should not bother. But then again I'm of the opinion they shouldn't have bothered with any of the already confirmed 3rd party characters bar Heihachi and maybe Raiden

That's one thing I don't get. Now I'm not personally a big fan of DMC. They're decent games, but I wouldn't really say I'm particularly invested in them. Therefore while I understand the grievances people have, I don't personally feel them.
But couldn't they have left his hair colour white? Everything else I can brush off, but the dark hair is just jarring whenever I see it. I wonder how many complaints would still exist if he had his normal hair colour as standard
We'd still have a DMC game running at 30 FPS with no hard lock on, being made by the same developer whose made one of the worst running UE3 games of all time (with DmC also being a UE3 title, god knows why), characters who spout obscenities like they're classiest thing around, and an unnecessary introduction of the horribly cliche'd "angels vs demons" to a lore that was previously just fine with just humans standing alone against demons. But hey, the environments look pretty!
(Dino's hair not being white is far from the only complaint about the game, or the character for that matter.)
