So for the Halo 4 Remix Contest, sai-kun and I have been collaborating a little bit. We just got done with some stuff today, I'd love to hear what you guys think!

Mmm. I'm not going to lie, I actually enjoyed the book... but yeah, all it did was answer a few questions from the first. It didn't really give us anything new... (Though it was explained that Naomi's MK VII looks like MJOLNIR MK V which I thought was interesting).
Jul's story now is quite transparent. It's so obvious that he's going to be creating the Storm faction. Once he gets enough ships, he'll head off towards the Didact and the beginning of Halo 4 will start.
The Phillips thing could've played out to have been so awesome... but it was just meh. Definitely a weak point and I was just skipping of those chapters. For a Brute uprising it was unbelievably dull.

Obviously a space whale helped launch the Infinity back home while Chief and Didact begin their life anew on Requiem to have a million babies. Also a space shrimp and pac-man are fighting but I don't know how it ties in to the story.
I get around 6 months of play out of any controller before I have noticeable degradation in feel of components, movement on sticks, and responsiveness of buttons (all or one of the above). If I could afford it I would get a new controller every 3-4 months. Black Friday maybe?

Just speculation, but: we know the first level of Halo 4 has some obvious parallels to the first level of CE. What if we have to go though the crashed Infinity in the final level just like The Maw?

Lol. I never had thought about blowing up the Autumn that way. I remember when I first played it I could never blow them up, it took tons of tries and I often fell to the bottom floor. Now, it's so effortless I'm not sure why it was an issue. With a co-op partner staying up top to toggle the switches, it takes less than three minutes.

Hey man, thanks for the comments. I'm away from my good headphones right now, so I haven't listened to what you posted yet. I will when I get back to my gear though!
Do you use Mixcraft? I do. I actually used Mixcraft's default piano for my piano in my remix (lol). I have some other ones, but I knew my piano would be drenched in reverb and you wouldn't be able to hear details.
Other than that, it was a lot of Kontakt 5, NI Retro Machines, and Impulse and Messiah (freebies packaged with Mixcraft).
And thanks to everyone else who listened to my remix! Very encouraging =)

Yeah, Mixcraft is my go-to DAW with a buttload of VST plug-ins. What did you use for your cellos/brass? I noticed a few were just pitch-shifted versions of the original samples (which is a very clever trick, might I add), but the ones in the beginning of the song definitely did not sound like the stems.
Getting excited. Took these yesterday/today.
Pretty awesome. Makes me wish I had an actual camera. Wonder how my Galaxy S2 would do.

Why did Bungie stop making interactive maps? Why hasn't 343i tried to implement a couple of them. I miss terminal. also miss opening the gate for Zanzibar. It really created a different dimension to the maps.
