Yup, she's done and I'm wondering what exactly made her do this.

"I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, was the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

The Obama administration has been heavily criticized after Vice President Joe Biden said during last week's vice presidential debate that the White House did not know of requests to enhance security at Benghazi, contradicting testimony by State Department employees that requests had been made and rejected. Following the debate, the White House said the vice president did not know of the requests because they were handled, as is the practice, by the State Department.

Yeah, we got attacked on 9/11/12, 11 years after 9/11/01 and this administration has dun goofed. Can't wait until these morons are out of power.

EDIT date for 9/11/12 as some people can't put together my statement to mean that 11 years after our initial attack, our government is still having issues in identifying ways and means to proactively protect her citizens.

OMG, they didn't call it a terrorist attack at first, fire them all...

Blaming it on a fucking 3 month old Youtube video that no one knew existed until the government bullshitted it for weeks. Yeah fuck them. Denying the requests for additional protection repeatedly while Paris fucking France has a marine detachment. They didn't want to admit they fucked up and fucked up royally

Internally they probably knew but either wanted to be sure first or didn't want to back track.

Not a huge deal really.
Yeah, Americans dying on a symbolic day in an embassy that was consistently being attacked leading up to said attack isn't that huge of a deal really. I really hope that was a joke post.

This is the most blatant case of throwing someone under the bus I've seen. What does she have to do with the security at a CIA front, which apparently asked for more security?

I meant the delay in admitting the real motive, not the incident itself.

You need to read your own bloody posts.

It was obvious she was going under the wheels since she's not taking up the post again in a 2nd term

Let's ask the families.

The father of Christopher Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya who was killed in the attack in Benghazi last month, said his son’s death shouldn’t be politicized in the presidential campaign.

“It would really be abhorrent to make this into a campaign issue,”
Jan Stevens, 77, said in a telephone interview from his home in Loomis, California, as he prepares for a memorial service for his son next week.

Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee, has criticized President Barack Obama for not providing adequate security in Libya, saying the administration has left the country exposed to a deadly terrorist attack.

The ambassador’s father, a lawyer, said politicians should await the findings of a formal investigation before making accusations or judgments.

“The security matters are being adequately investigated,” Stevens said. “We don’t pretend to be experts in security. It has to be objectively examined. That’s where it belongs. It does not belong in the campaign arena.” Stevens said he has been getting briefings from the State Department on the progress of the investigation.

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — The mother of a retired Navy SEAL killed in Libya is lashing out at GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney for discussing her son’s death on the campaign trail.

“I don't trust Romney. He shouldn't make my son's death part of his political agenda. It's wrong to use these brave young men, who wanted freedom for all, to degrade Obama,”
said Barbara Doherty, according to 7News in Boston.

Her chances of running in 2016 are slim to none now. If you believe otherwise....

at your hopes.

LMAO nobody but diehard Republicans will give two shits about this in 2016.

Her 2016 chances all depend on how well Obama's second term is received and whether the economy recovers and unemployment keeps going down.

I do along with millions others that care.

no your just a miserable republican.

What does the wait time in officially declaring it a terrorist attack have anything to do with how the Administration handled the situation internally? Most people don't give a shit about this and nobody is going to care in 2016.

To me, an attack is an attack......4 people died no matter what it is called. Now, why was security downgraded to begin with is what I care about. And it seems all side had a part on that.

And this is the real truth. Just a massive fuckup from everyone from the republican house all the way up to the white house. What is good is what can lessons can be learned from this and not the pathetic political attacks

Why do you believe that this issue will sway voters that lean left, as well as independents, enough to cause her to not run in 2016 whatsoever?

Yeah, we got attacked on 9/11, 11 years later and this administration has dun goofed. Can't wait until these morons are out of power.
And I'm sure you still voted to re-elect the guy who was president when approximately 500x as many people were killed by terrorists on our very own soil.

Are you kidding me? Nobody will remember this. I probably won't remember it. Because it's virtually irrelevant. It's a pathetic attempt by Romney to attack Obama on foreign policy...the guy that ended 2 unpaid wars and was commander in chief when we got Osama.

What might I remember? The crazy guy that wanted to cut taxes by 20%, increase military spending (which is at an all time high) by 2 trillion, and pull out magic underwear to make up for it and reduce the deficit. That guy is a quack.

In my opinion Romney was more responsible for the death of Bin Laden than Obama

As an aside, this delusional fear that Republicans seem to have of Hillary actually makes me more enthusiastic about the idea of her becoming President.

At least she took more responsibility for this than Bush and his administration ever did for fucking up and missing all the signals leading up to 9-11.

So Romney can't criticize the handling of the Governments job of securing our embassy's abroad huh? I'm not making this a republican issue or a democrat issue, its an American issue. As far as I'm concerned, if the CIA, FBI, State Department or any other agency bungled this or made this a political issue that's on them; Simply pointing that out in a time in which we have a guy in office that is advocating for more Government care of the people should be alarming to people.

Yeah lets get these morons out of office and put in the party that had the biggest terrorist attack in U.S. history happen on their watch, started two wars costing tax payers trillions and ending the lives of thousands, and still failed to catch the #1 guy behind it.

My guess: Bureaucratic issues with the State dept and CIA.

And then waging a war with a country based on lies that led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of innocent lives...

Also in GOP land, Romney admitting he made a mistake in calling half of the country leeches and un important is "courageous" but Hillary admitting intelligence mistakes were made is going to cost her career. Hmm...
