It was Wii / Wii U if I am not mistaken. I voted Xenoblade which really should have been in the hunt for GOTY if they were going to include it.

Halo 4 has quality, thats the reason I think it deserve.

It can, I am just saying it would be nice to see a small studio and game like Journey, that also sold extremely well win.

Not many here will argue Black Ops 2 is the best game but it has a great chance at taking many awards from SpikeTV.

I'm with you, as I said before, a good game is a good game, don't care if it is AAA or indie. But I have noticed in neogaf some "contempt" towards the AAAs.

Mine wouldn't be Journey either, though it is close. Mine would actually be Gravity Rush, loved the setting, the character, the music, I even loved the gameplay itself where I know others took issue. Definitely an imperfect GOTY choice, but I like quirky sometimes imperfect things.

Edit: Granted I have yet to play Virtue's Last Reward, and I really should soon as that could change things.

Maybe it does, but your argument against Journey was for its length, and your argument for Halo 4 was about its variety of modes. Which is ridiculous, essentially you're arguing only AAA games that can afford the breadth of content that Halo has deserve to be GOTY nominees

I'm pleased to see Dishonored getting some love (although it's weird that it's not featured in the "best PC game" section). I also like that MP3 got nominated for best score, soundtrack and male performance. Say what you want about the gameplay of this game but it had amazing music.
