Less lightning. Less ff xiii. Less ff whoring in general. More interesting new ips. More home console development from the Japan legs in general.

Haha, funny how so many people are creating accounts just to let their voices be heard. Just look at all them 1st time posters.

ATTACK! Let our frustrations be heard!

Depends who is asking: I could give less of a shit about what the develop but as a publisher I hope they keep cracking our more rock solid PC ports.

When I think Square Enix, it's the Japanese arm that always comes to mind. Always seem to forget about the Eidos works. So to add to my previous post, give me the sequel to the best game of the generation.

Deus Ex Human Revolution 2

EDIT: Actually on second thought I'd rather not. I'd want the sequel on next gen systems

If they release this year in Europe Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix, Bravely Default: Flying Fairy and Dragon Quest VII Remake, Square Enix will definitely be my favorite company of 2013. These are my most anticipated games.

Hey, it's the "Final Fantasy mobile revolution", so we might get an FFVI remake out of this too!

A very ugly remake it would be.

2+2=5

The Amiga Brotherhood
What could happen:
type 0 or something related on ios -> no hope for ff type 1.

What should happen:
type 0 on psp and/or vita -> more ff type games -> ff type become the best recent ff saga.

Really disappointed at the lack of TWEWY love in here. No wonder Square hasn't bothered making a sequel.

Anyway...

TWEWY 2 announcement.
A new Final Fantasy Tactics, hopefully less childish than the last two installments.
Bravely Default and Dragon Quest VII localization. In fact, the increased viability of digital distribution means that there's literally no excuse for any project not to be localized moving forward.
Let a team of newcomers work on the next mainline Final Fantasy under Hiroyuki Ito's supervision and a little bit of input from their western studios.

Versus stuff. Don't even care if it's screenshots or bullshots or artwork. The other projects just don't seem as interesting.

After ten years of constant blabbing about becoming a more global company... become a more global company. Don't greenlight any project that isn't intended to be a global project. Don't use any technology that can't be shared globally. Hire non-Japanese executives. Hire non-Japanese creatives. Don't privilege "in house" domestic work over worldwide work. Don't make platform decisions based on the economics of releasing in Japan. Launch simultaneously worldwide.

Everything else people here would request logically flows from this.

Spot on. They have all the right intentions but just keep stumbling and falling near the finish line.

(And I want Square-Enix to get back to me with something positive after i went to a job interview at one of their developers before Christmas)

It's almost as if they are trying to piss us off with this question haha.

Either that or they have a nice announcement sometime soon. ;)
