I actually don't have a problem w/ how they handle E3.
But this I see as different, I don't want anything about PS4 leaked from now until then.

Having a concrete date really upped my hype levels. I anticipate standing on the side lines a bit longer than I did before buying a PS3, unless it has a new GT drop early, but this generation should be such a great shake up. I have a great gaming PC and a killer backlog to get through in the next year, so I want to remain console agnostic this time around and buy smart.
Truth be told, Oculus Rift has me the most hype out of anything, but a new PlayStation still gets all the nostalgia fibers tingling. I remember having to hide in my locker during my basic training at Ft.Benning to read a video game magazine my friend mailed me with screen shots of PS2 games. I must have read that over 20 times. I fully purchased a pre order PS2 and left my receipt with my gaming buddy to pick it up for me because the PS2 came out when I was still in basic. My mom mailed me a picture of the PS2 box sitting in the center of my bedroom. My lord, the anticipation. When I finally came home in December I think I was just as excited to open and fire up the PS2 as I was to sleep in my own bed.

Yeah before Gears came out, Fight Night was the first game where I was like "whoah this is next-gen."
I haven't even played a Fight Night game since the first one on 360 but I'd buy the shit out of it if it ends up in PS4's launch window because I'm sure it will look ungodly, and maybe support Move.

Yeah that after watching the trailer and having the hype started I kind of want to see Sony's new console now.
But 19 days isn't too bad.
I think it would be funny if they spent the majority of their event talking about upcoming PS3 and Vita titles (so much so that people think they got their hopes up for nothing) and right at the end drop an Apple style "and one more thing" showcasing the PS4.
