You know what I would LOVE to see Insomniac do?
A new 3D platformer that isnt a Ratchet game. Multiplat, Wii U exclusive... I dont care but those are the games I want to see from them. Not generic shooters and I have just grown bored of the Ratchet universe and game blueprint.
This! It makes me sad that on PS1 we got Spyro, on PS2 we got Ratchet, and then on PS3 we got...Ratchet again. Don't get me wrong, the games are good, but I'm kind of bored of it now. I'd really like to see something new.
I know it'll never happen because platformers don't sell now, and the only reason we still get Ratchet is because of the brand recognition, but a man can dream.

I think Sony will likely shelve any 3D platformers for the near future. That's a dead genre if the game isn't named Mario.

If so, I'd sure hope for a much better effort and engine than the last two. The physics in A4O/FFS have been terrible, way too floaty.

Not sure, but the d-pads on my DS3 are completely worn down from playing 2D fighters. Vita's has a good click to it, and seems more comfortable. I think it'll end up being more durable.

The size and shape looks more 360-controller-ish, which I approve 100%.
Even after years with the PS1, PS2, and PS3, I immediately preferred the 360 controller once I held it in my hand for the first time.

Also: why would it need to have a separate "share" button? Why couldn't sharing be under the PS button?

Personally my love for it comes almost entirely from how comfortable it is when playing fighting games. I generally use an arcade stick and struggle without one.
However, on the Vita d-pad all my issues disappear. It is remarkably solid and I adore how distinct all eight directions feel. I rarely miss an input even when making fairly complex and rapid movements.

It would be really silly if they did that. I have my consoles hooked up to a projector to the camera would be completely useless to me if it was built in to the console.
