Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX Trophy Lists (2 Platinums, 3 lists)

I'm making a new thread since I know a lot of people were curious about this one.

The lists are now online.

There are three lists, one for each game. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Re:Chain of Memories both have platinums. 358/2 Days has a PSN game trophy list.

There are custom icons for each trophy, but surprisingly the games themselves share the same icon.

  • Here are the lists (in Japanese -- warning, possible spoilers):
KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX

KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories

KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days

  • Lists translations by KH Insider (spoilers if you haven't played the games):

I don't like trophies, and I don't like people who like trophies. I'm too cool for trophies. Trophies are ruining gaming.

I can't wait to get all those trophies!

I haven't played any of the KH games before. Is this the logical place to start?

Yeah, it's got pretty much everything you need to start out. But if you want to get caught up it's going to take a bunch of shit.

There are a couple ways to do this. To get everything you're going to need a:
-PS2
-Nintendo DS
-PSP
-3DS

GBA is optional, as Re:CoM is a PS2 remake of CoM, which was originally for the PS2.

Release order is the traditional way, I guess. You'd learn all of the plot details at the same time that we all did and in the same order. Some stuff can get confusing, but you'd generally be okay:

-Kingdom Hears (PS2)
-CoM/Re:CoM (GBA/PS2)
-Kingdom Hearts 2 (PS2)
-352/8 Days (NDS)
-Birth by Sleep (PSP)
-Re:Coded (NDS)
-Dream Drop Distance (3DS)

If a game has a Final Mix variant that you can get your hands on then it's preferred, but they haven't been localized so you're not going to have much luck. KH2:Final Mix+ has been translated through patches so if you're in to emulation it's worth a look.

Now if you play the games in chronological order it'd give you a decent grasp of the plot from the get go. It'd go something like this:

-Birth by Sleep
-Kingdom Hearts
-352/8 Days and CoM/Re:CoM (these two take place concurrently)
-Kingdom Hearts 2
-Re:Coded
-Dream Drop Distance

This way you'll see shit coming that we didn't see as we played each game for the first time. Some parts of the franchise become much more tragic (the prologue to KH2, anybody?) and others make slightly more sense.

Are the 358/2 really just for watching it?
That's pretty funny. I'd assume one would be marathon or something (watch without pausing)

I will definitely try to get KH1 platinum, Chain of Memories maybe not... most certainly not.
That "finish the game without changing equipment" could be scary though.

I guess that KH 2.5 info will have to wait until TGS at least.

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix has trophies for:
Finish on hardest difficulty (Proud)
Finish without changing equipment
Finish under 15 hours
Finish without using one continue

So I guess it'll require at least a couple of playthroughs.

Some should be easy especially under 15 hours because of how easily you can skip worlds completely. Not to mention finishing worlds in under 30 minutes.

Well, if it's like any other game with trophies for beating games on different difficulties, beating it on the highest difficulty would probably net you the trophies for the other difficulties.

As for the other three trophies, I guess that's something easily done on one playthrough of Beginner Mode.

Kind of bummed about that speed running trophy. Not that its hard or anything, just that I was hoping to take my time AND do everything. Guess that means I'll need to do 2 playthroughs :/

Looks like the quickest way to get them will be to do a 'real' run on Proud, and then a no-equipment change speedrun on Normal or Easy. That's what I'll be doing, anyway.

Re:CoM play will have a fair amount of grinding (like completing the journal, getting all the cards) but it will be mine regardless.

Yeah, I'm thinking a fast no-equipment-change run on easy to get those out of the way.

Yes. Looks like they are planning to make a pair of remake collections which will contain the series as a whole, for the most part.

thank god, I'd really like to play Birth by sleep, but I don't want to shell out the money for a PSP and a copy of the game.

3 gold trophies for just the Days cutscenes :lol.

Finish without changing equipment
Finish under 15 hours
Finish without using one continue
Should be easy enough if you can do it on Final Mix Beginner. Apparently that mode is piss easy.

How far down the pipeline do you think 2.5 HD is? They can't take THAT much longer as I'm sure Square wants to start pumping out next gen stuff.

They've been making this before FFX HD was announced so probably not that fast.
