Well Infinite at least. XCOM is a total time sink. I've managed 9 hours and barely touched the surface (damn you Classic Ironman). Still that's 2 amazing titles for a corking price, oh and some hats.

I guess I never checked it out on How Long To Beat.

Its at 22 hours for beating the game. Not too bad, especially if its a great game like XCOM looks to be.
I just spent that long beating Sleeping Dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

i have 46 hours, beated it once on regular classic and tried a couple more on ironman classic. it's fun but it's way more shallow than it should be and some design choices they made just aren't so cool and the game feels way too samey.

i dunno, at first it was magical and then it wasn't

Like I said before I never played a Elder Scroll game, I get Oblivion last december, I thought it was very good my plans was play it after Risen but the last pages make me think twice..just drop my expectation very low I remember all the talk of some friend about the great RPG for 360 years ago...

How are the Blood Bowl games? seem kind of interesting

The core game itself is quite fun to play especially multiplayer.

HOWEVER the thing that has pissed me off a great deal is that they have effectively released the same game as FOUR different titles!
They simply add a few more teams and stadiums and then BAM release a whole new version of the game instead of simply just adding them as DLC...

It ruins the dang game because if you want to keep playing multiplayer then you need to 'upgrade' to the newest version of the game as the player base migrates over.

I've refused to purchase the latest version, I'm over supporting them.

55/75 achievements done for Skyrim. I will probably be ready to do the expansions back to back this summer when I can get them 50% or so off. The Call Storms shout looks pretty fucking incredible and made getting the 1000 bounty in all 9 holds a bit more entertaining (the last achievement I had left). I did 95%+ of the proper quests in the main game and it took me a bit over 100 hours.

Jankier younger brother of TES.
TES's Jankier eastern european cousin.
Gothic 1 has not aged well.
IMHO neither has Gothic 2, but that seems to the be fan favorite.
Gothic 3 was dumbed down quite a bit, but I loved it.
Risen is the best Gothic game.
Arcania: Gothic 4 is not a Gothic game. (edit: I enjoyed it anyways. Just go in expecting more of a 3rd person ARPG than an TES/Gothic game)
Risen 2 is terrible.

Pretty accurate. Risen is the one to play today, Gothic 2 is the one to read about.

Need dat Mantis boarding party.

I fuckin hate teleporting to another ship because it fucks up my multitasking and I end up killing the ship while my crew's in there

so, I barely get any fighter crew

last boss doesnt teleport to your ship though, at least I never give him the chance

Yeah that'll happen...generally just before you make the jump to the final boss. If you have it upgraded at least to level 2 you'll always be able to get them back though (level 1 is too risky).

You know what I miss? When like, ANYONE would update Steam with patch notes when they upload a patch. Stealth Bastard and Brutal Legend pudated today, but no patch notes. D:

This is getting on my nerves, I'm sick of these stealth patches. F*ckin' announce what you are patching!

And you know what's the worst? Sometimes these patches/updates end up breaking a game and generating pointless bloat in the community forums.

Case in point: Anna got a 355mb patch. No idea what it does but it broke the game for sure.

edit: It has added more achievements, that's one thing. In fact, Strike Suit Zero also got a ninja patch to add 3 more achievements.

Is an Easter event approaching or something that games are suddenly getting more achievements? I can't clean a backlog and they add more to it, dammit.

The patch notes usually do show up a day later or so.

I think Anna and JSR both updated their DirectX/.net 3.5 installs recently (according to the registry). It might be related to this: http://www.chivalrythegame.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11303

This update has to do with switching the way the prerequisites are installed (in supported games, Steam now installs common prerequisites only once, not every time a different game is installed). There were no changes to the game itself. Thank you.

Anna is getting a special edition, it's called "Extended Edition", kind of an overhaul. Hope it bodes well because the original release was seriously underwhelming.

There are indeed like triple the amount of achievements now as well!

But I wonder why suddenly so much stuff got updates out of the blue. Must be a march thing!
