The promo is to bring customers in. Why would they put on a shirt advertising a product no one wants?

This would be my reaction walking into the store.

One of my online friends made a post about it on his facebook. He works at gamestop and he actually posted pics of the mustache and hat. I guess either it's certain gamestops or not all of them know about it yet.

Gamestop marketing isn't always planned, they usually just spring it up on them.

Called my local GameStop and the dude confirmed that they'd be doing this too. I'm gonna pop in just to see.

I will still try to find the paper my boss read and I hope we can be friends Wario64. I always like your threads about deals!

When I worked at a video rental chain, we used to get sent t-shirts with this or that big title on them to wear when they came out. I'd assume game companies occasionally do the same thing with Gamestop emplyoees?

This just seems like a slightly more creative form of that, really. Instead of just a shirt that 95% of customers are going to ignore, it's a very noticable advertisement. Probably sucks for the employees, but at least Nintendo's kind of trying.

How is this any different from having to wear a uniform for work, I honestly don't see what there is to get offended about this... some people man.

Haha this is awesome, too bad it's only for the shitty GS.

Its okay and glad to be your friend. I was more worried I was going to get banned if people thought I was lying.

Relax, Wario, as omnipotent as he seems, is just a mere mortal like us. :p

That should have been a pre order bonus. Luckily the European versions of the games that are pre ordered are glow in the dark!

I honestly don't see this as bad. If I were the one working in a game store anyone walking in would immediately recognize whos hat I am wearing.

Luigi is one of the few awesome Nintendo characters anyways so I wouldn't mind wearing that hat; especially if I was working at gamestop.

Don't know how this comes off as bullying or what people call it.

I hope they do something similar for Soul Sacrifice's launch, but knowing Sony they usually opt in for some stupid preorder cosmetic dlc rather than getting retailers to wear get ups.

Imagine walking in and you see a Gamestop employee in a Merlin costume. I would drop everything and buy that fucking game. Because its fucking merlin.

Anyways, if Ebgames gave me a luigi hat for preordering Luigi's mansion: Dark Moon I would go out and preorder it right now. I will probably pick this up eventually down the line, always got to support original titles rather than shoddy ports like the one coming out on tuesday.

Boss Doggie

all my loli wolf companions are so moe
What's with all the bile on wearing the thing? Honestly this is much better than chugging a huge statue that will only see exposure during a game's release.

Wow they found another way to treat their employees like clowns. One that actually makes them look like clowns.

From what I read this is actually the least terrible thing they have done to their employees.
