Splinter Cell: Blacklist looks fantastic and no line! As an SC fan, this looks so much better than Conviction and stealth seems really emphasized.

Alright I'm gonna get some food and head in I think, maybe explore the classic game rooms and try to get a seat for the retronauts panel. If you see a dude in a Bruins sweatshirt who looks like he needs a shave then that's me!

Ok is there anything else worth mentioning for pax other then the capcom stuff? I'm searching and I can't find a single thing to anticipate for pax. At least gdc is near by...

Watch Dogs demo is a complete waste of time. It's old footage with new narration and a dev video. What a waste.
Thanks, friend of mine was set on lining up for the game tomorrow morning.

Played some Super Time Force today and had a fantastic time, game is an absolute blast! The guy running the booth mentioned they hope to have a new cartoon short up for tomorrow.

So far the only game absolutely worth lining up for is The Last of Us. It's a fantastic half hour demo that I think everyone needs to play. Problem with that is that the line is incredibly long and moves incredibly slow.

If you're at all interested in seeing the game at PAX, get to PAX early and head straight for it as soon as the Main Hall opens.

As I said before, they're demoing Splinter Cell Blacklist which I think people need to see. It looks so much better than the all out action game we've been shown.

Hey GAF.

I'm podcasting from the lobby of the Westin with my buddies, come by and say hi if you feel like it. We're just doing a little guerrilla podcasting thing but don't be shy, people are just coming by to drop in and chat for a few minutes about the show experience.

Starting at 7:30. Look for a guy wearing a Fez or a horse head. You'll know it when you see it.

There's a panel on Double Fine Adventure on Sunday, so we might get some new info then (or at least people who aren't backers might learn something new).

Had spotty wifi all day so I decided to get back to the hotel for a bit to recharge. The day has been quite the wild ride. Was at both the Blizzard and Capcom panels today. Going to grab a bite to eat with the Udon guys it looks like. Might skip the GB panel now. Hope to see some of you guys tomorrow.

Don't know what that game is, sounds like a kick starter thing which I don't follow.

It sounds like pax is more of a event for people to demo games rather then announce anything which is okay I guess since gdc...at least we know sf4 will get another update. Now gotta worry if guy will get proper buffs lol

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
Fuck, really? So no new footage?

FUCK! FUUUUUUUUCK!!!!

there was new footage, not sure what he means. it's a lot of the same scenes, but you can tell it's different gameplay (i.e., it's not the same footage) because things that happen in the mission are different. what I liked about it is it proves it wasn't canned the first time since the results of the players actions are different in this mission. like car accidents are totally different and stuff.

i don't remember the first video that well other than the director talking, but he lays out his vision for the game and mentions some features. it was still pretty interesting if you're into it.

where was it at? at the capcom booth?
all i saw was lost planet, remember me and res evil

lmao i struggled so much at the demo of "the last of us" but i got dat brick B^). with like 5 minutes to go

Yeah. It was smooth as butter and the soundtrack was fantastic. You can tell the developers loved the original.

I somehow was terrible at it, regardless of my childhood memories.

So has anybody checked out the Indie games being shown off at PAX?

Spent most of time mingling with other indie devs; there is simply too much awesome being shown there. Hung out with rad folks from Supergiant, Behemoth, Ska Studios, Capy. Spooky Squid, Mommy's Best, Zeboyd Games... it's been a fantastic show.

And such a thrill meeting show-goers and the occasional fan. It's so nice not having to exhibit this year and actually enjoy the show! After my panel tomorrow I'm hoping to get some hands-on with some of the games.

Got back a few hours ago. Walked around the showroom most of the day. I have been to every pax east and IMO this did not have any games that I saw and said to myself "I have to get this game day one." Food line was beyond insane. Went to one panel which talked about game addiction which was interesting for a little while. All in all it was a fun day but with the crowds I am all set with just going one day.

Isn't it confirmed a few days ago?

http://thecontrolleronline.com/2013/03/the-new-diablo-3-ps3-trailer-shows-off-its-new-interface/

Aside from the revamped interface, the PS3 version of Diablo 3 will be available to play offline, something the PC version does not support, with four player online and offline co-op, but will lose the real money auction house.

One panel down, one to go!

I really do hope that I can come to PAX one year when I don't need to worry about work stuff. I enjoy the atmosphere, but nearly every hour of my day is spent going to meetings and whatnot. I want to see what the show is like when I can do nothing but enjoy it. *heh*

I'm going to stick around tomorrow night, though, so I'll get to do a bit of that. And then my second panel comes on Sunday (in-between work stuff).

Anyone watching the stream? This MegaMan2 piano medley is the shit.

Which is a change from the previous songs, which were pretty shitty (I like VGO but the pitch on the violin especially seemed off)
