Okay, so: Setsuna and Saji are definitely lovers. It makes sense. Apparently glowing cyborg eyes now mean something other than that you're a cyborg, since Setsuna has 'em now. Because Setsuna cannot solve problems on his own without stupid ass power ups. Also, "I SENSE THINGS." OH EVERYBODY STEP BACK SETSUNA MIGHT BE HUMAN AFTER ALL.
Actually, that Setsuna is one of the cyborg Innovators makes the most sense of all. I mean, think about it. He has red eyes, just like the rest of them, and he's an emotionless, soulless machine whose life goal is to become a machine. Setsuna is more mechanical than even Tieria, but that's because Tieria made the choice to become a woman after she fell in love with Old Lockon. At least, I think Tieria is a woman. I don't know.

Majestic Prince and Aku no Hana are evidence that AnimeGAF is not a hivemind. They are the real shows which promote independent thought and expression. Such works are what actually keeps anime alive, despite all the hyperbolic claims of anime dying or being saved. Works which are universally adored and praised tend to be extremely safe and populist stuff that also have good production values and and positive points which are immediately obvious to even the most casual and uninformed observer.
As a fan of From the New World from the previous season, you of all people should know that this is true!

I think I have had the most fun posting in this thread because of the difference in opinion people have over Majestic Prince. It has been a fun discussion.
I never thought I'd say this, but Aku no Hana would look better with Hisashi Hirai character designs.
Gosh, I'm stretching to remember some of the finer points of this arc. I ought to go back and watch it since they remastered it.

Guess Im one of the few viewers who doesnt know any of these soccer players or even tuned in for Euro 2012 (Pirlo did what in it?). I think for the soccer players could have really givin them actually good designs. Why so big and bulky and toweringly immense?

why so scared all of a sudden, I hope he wont cry or something as just seeing him struggling and that one moment where it looked like he was about to run away from the huge dude was really emotionally moving of sorts. Then when Oozuo came and shook him and then he admitted he was scared and that Ginga is just too far away for them right now 
You only say that because the faces wouldn't be drawn half the time.
Don't quote me on it, because Lacus isn't exactly an amazing love interest character by any means (although I feel she's drastically improved in Destiny, which is one of the show's saving graces.), but yes, Lacus' music is way the hell better than Marina's.
What I'm really getting at though, is that in SEED Rau was presented as correct. Lacus' music wasn't going to change the world. It did help make her famous, though, which helped her get into politics, where she did prove to be pretty good at the game. If you treat Lacus as a credible threat throughout both SEED and Destiny, she's kinda scary, actually. She hands Kira the trump card and then wields his considerable firepower to thwart Rau, Zala, and Azrael. Durandal, noticing how powerful and influential Lacus was, used her as his own puppet (the music boosting troop morale or whatever and most importantly having the heroine give her seal of approval to his every word) but it all backfired when Lacus got involved again and used her Kira sword on him.
So Rau was right, in SEED, it was Lacus' ability to direct and influence people, namely Kira, that shaped the future. In Gundam 00 it is literally Marina's godawful song. I am legit surprised nobody has said Aeolia Schenberg planned that crap, too.
The episode with the Gouf is one of my favorite Gundam episodes in general. Because Goufs are badasses who will wreck your shit every time they show up.
So bad. SO SO BAD.
I'm gonna do that for the OT, the town is the fourth character after all.

They turned a perfectly entertaining trainwreck of a manga into an ugly, boring mess of blobs and poor lip-syncing. The disappearing/reappearing facial features is also pretty jarring.
This isn't anime. This isn't even A Scanner Darkly. At least that was oddly alluring in its visual style. This is just a failed amalgam of the 3rd and 2nd dimension that if it existed in reality, I imagine would be purgatory.

Yeah, I've been enjoying revisiting it because of how long it has been since I read it.
I remembered some of the major/iconic moments (the chimney, the computer data, the rooftop confrontation), but not a lot of the other stuff that happens in the story.
One of the things I appreciate so much about Conan is how much there is to appreciate on repeated viewings. So much happens that I always feel like I'm discovering new things. It's also just interesting to revisit these stories after everything that happens later on. When I read through these chapters, the name 'Chris Vineyard' didn't mean anything to me. Now, I see every scene with her and just go 'ooh'.

The best thing about that awful background girl cosmic pointed out is that she NEVER moves. She's a part of the background (but blurry as hell for whatever reason), and for a full 7 second cut, all the characters in the foreground and moving and stuff while there's this total derp face right behind them taking up 1/3 of the screen. Really hilarious.

It only took them fucking forever (though yes, I understand some elements may have been out of their control), but Funimation finally managed to cobble together a full dub trailer for Roberta's Blood Trail. Nice to hear the original cast back in action after so long.

Sadasada gloating like a pro about how much of an asshole he is will just make his comeuppance very satisfying.
Yes, Lacus isn't a good Love interest character, but she is by far a better character than Marina, she never do anything, anythig but cry for her country, watch the news and dream about Setsuna, thats why I laughed in that chapter when the song starts because this is the big moment for Marina and its just a stupid song that feels out of place, even her assistant is better, at least she try to do something useful.

Man, this episode as fucking garbage. Not only was the pacing utter shit but it also completely failed to make the back and forth between Megumu and Chihaya in any way interesting. It also made me realise just how much better this show would be if it focused on characters like Megumu instead of Chihaya and her love triangle of spineless wimps that make Onodera from fucking Nisekoi look assertive. The Gonzo episode was better than this for fucks sake.

I think a fairer comparison is between Marina and Relena, and even then Relena does more than her.

Every show I'm following this season is now being streamed by a single service.
I think this is the first time that's ever happened.
Hah! Yeah, i need to do that. I've seen the first ~100 episodes more than twice... Just watching it with other people and revisiting it for fun since I have the DVDs. Now I'll probably go back and watch the pivotal arc episodes just for that reason.
