...that looks stupid. Are they trying to be Ubisoft?

Incidentily, a remake of Shadow and the Flame is coming to iOS and Android later this year:

they're kinda all over the place

they made the terrible Rocket Knight XBLA game but they also made the fantastic Silent Hill Shattered Memories

so yeah

And MotoGP on Xbox. Everything they've made has been ports of shit or just shit games.

A bit like Blitz Entertainment

John Harker

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
Prince of Persia by Climax confirmed with Suda producing and the guys from LOST writing.

Àaaaaaaahhhhhh, its like a symphony to my ears. Tho I'd leak that one in a heartbeat so they'd be in too deep to cancel ;)

Definitely getting Vita vibes from those screens, plus it being an external studio. First E3 leak for Sony? hehehe

looks like Prince of Persia 3D remade (literally, the palace and floating ruins levels from the images)... Very cool if true.

Also Ubisoft is remaking Prince of Persia: the Shadow and the Flame: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OXQLYySMMNU

They are expanding the levels as well.

That looks awful in every single way possible. Which doesn't really surprise me because their 2.5D remake of the original was terrible as well. I wish this franchise was taken away from Ubisoft.

I really need a new POP game.... can't believe we only got 2 this generation, one with killed sequel and one was mediocre -_-"
Three! The Wii game is completely unlike the other console version. I think it was a stupid move of Ubi to use the same box art and name for all versions.

Rocket Knight on mega drive and Sparkster on both mega drive and snes are two (three...) of my favorite games ever, I never could forgive them for the XBLA game.

... What? O-o
Why didn't you like it? I loved the game on SNES, even if it was my grandmother's and I never could play it for long... And I liked the new one very much.
I'm genuinely curious to know why you didn't like it.

IIRC they had a huge project cancellation around last October resulting in a bunch of layoffs. Apparently they are working with a major franchise at the moment though.

I only played the demo, but it's fair to say that Climax either didn't get what made the original series so good (the incredibly inventive "situation rush" level design, with one unique set piece after another) or didn't have the talent to recapture it. It's as though someone copied and pasted the boost mechanics into a generic 16-bit platformer, then faithfully remade that game in 2.5D.

STOP SHITTING ON MY MOTHER'S HEADSTONE
If it plays like the Sands series, I'm in.

Reminds me I still need to play Forgotten Sands Wii and PoP '08.

Looks like PoP Vita (woo Vita games!), and the Prince looks fairly similar to the one from 08 too... Game for '14 release on everything?
