Abracastab's potential playstyle and design is just too relevant to my interests for me to drop her. I'd wager she wasn't that far outside the top 16, and even though she won't win I'd rather see her place as highly as possible as I'm sure it'd increase the chances of her featuring in any future instalment.
This vote hasn't had any real impact on who I'll be voting for next round. Black Dahlia, Brain Drain and Beatrix are still locks. Only slight change is that I was wavering on Annie and Aeon for my 4th slot before, where as now I'm fixed on Annie.

I would. I liked them the first time and I still like them.
I dropped him when I realized I preferred Umbrella's Hungern for my Shuma-Gorath inspired character (and Umbrella's Roll is equally attractive).

That's pretty good! The only thing I would suggest is to change the color the blood from blue to orange/gold, as the character the color's based on channels the power of sun for her attacks.

This. I voted for Mrs. Victoria and if the voting format stays the same for round 2 I will vote for her again. I love the idea of her referencing famous fighting game moves. She might also have counters which makes me think of Hakumen from Blazblue. Her story mode can also be cool as hopefully it would shed some light on how and why she became D.Violet.
My 1st character voting went like this.
Round 1: Eliza, Black Dahlia, Mrs. Victoria, Venus
Round 2: Eliza, Black Dahlia, Venus
Round 3: Eliza, Aeon (via dice roll between her, Beowulf, and Panzerfaust) since I like all 3 of them equally
Round 4: Eliza
If Eliza wins then I'll go with Black Dahlia, Mrs. Victoria, Venus and probably Brain Drain.

I would say if you vote for characters that were easily eliminated the first time around then you're foolish, but who knows what could happen?
I went with blue because that's what appeared when I looked up her ripple.
That sends the wrong message.
"Would you like some mustard?"
I had a feeling it wouldn't work so well. Yeah, while they sometimes show ripple blue, at max power it's orange/gold. Plus it leaves victim's bodies melting with a glowing effect so I thought it might work.

Well it's not quite enough to get backing of the previous winner, you also have to have some sort of mainstream appeal or have backing of the "safety votes". Getting eliminated in the first round to me is essentially saying you have neither people who find you an attractive prospect on average and you don't have any backup support either.
tl;dr if your char's not a secondary on vote lists you're screwed lol

The character's default colour palette is one I can't stomach, the weapon's design is really poor and only the voice of Laura Bailey could probably get me to like the character. But I've grown to like Beowulf, so Annie fans, if you win this one, I hope Beowulf is your next choice, damn it!

Check Brian's other stuff. He definitely doesn't mind erm...enhancing the chest area in characters.
Of course, I like his work just fine.

With the amount of shit the game already gets from the OTT female proportions and jigglyness, I'd hope the team has the sense to tone it down somewhat from fanart like that.
But the detail in fan-art, it's too much!

When I voted for Minette in the first round, it was before I finished the Skullgirls story mode. After I finished it and recalled Mrs. Fortune's story mode, I couldn't see Minette as a playable character at all.
As for Eliza, I let my girlfriend pick since I didn't really care for the others besides Beowulf.
I think some of the art that Alex has posted sheds some light on the situation.
Eliza's being bound to her Scythe in this picture, I'd imagine with all the blood circulating around her that the Scythe acts as an achor for Eliza's body and the opportunity for Sekhmet to jump into the fray directly.
This is the first time I'm seeing that Sarcophagus art. Disco, hook me up with some sources so I can go play art diver for a bit.

I never got to see the 3D render of Eliza! D: What is this amazing piece that I hasn't seen.
Peter said it way back, like 2 weeks ago in the comments. He saw the unfinshed art (just a rough with no colors) and was like "cool drawing, you should totally finish it!" not knowing it was Brian's (employee of skullgirls).
Now it's colored, so Ravi should be happy it's done.
