Wish I could watch this live, but I’m off to bed. It’s currently 1:30am here in Melbourne and I’ve got work tomorrow...

I usually stay up for E3’s and these types of conferences, but not tonight. I look forward to waking up to the madness.

I'm just glad that starting at about 1 p.m. EST today, we can stop using code names and just get on with it already!

I refuse to believe this conference will be anything but average. I refuse to get on the hype train. There has been no positive news about the gaming emphasis of this console.

I loved the first Xbox. I loved where 360 started. But Microsoft has dropped the ball big time on solely concentrating on 3rd party gaming.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope they have some great titles lined up that aren't just shooters. It would be great to see some new RPGS and JRPGS as well as some creative platformers. But I feel Microsoft knows what its customer buys and what he doesn't. And that the company is dictated by the American customer base is most unfortunate.

An american company that designs its business model around the largest market in the world(by far) is unfortunate? Is this the Twilight Zone?

More like too much of this:

But they will add slapping this time, imagine slapping tigers and they crash in the TV glass when they attack you for retaliation

now that is what i call fun

Seeing the anger, confusion and desperation in their proud eyes is the real next gen of emotional gaming

Ha, Ha, Ha. Does owning the previous Xbox and three 360s count? I simply find Sony's first party games more appealing. Am I not allowed have an opinion to the contrary?

I just asked a question man; no need to get defensive. My point is that they aren't really that different; you just like their train of sequel type games to Xbox..correct?

My prediction: The "Xbox Live" name is no more after today.

The "Live" moniker has been phased out of every Microsoft product. Not to mention it's confusing because most of the content on Xbox Live isn't live, it is on demand.

Could the new name be "Xbox Now"? The network TV apps on Xbox already seem to be adopting the "Now" moniker:

"TV Now" is actually just the usual CW tagline.

'Average' for new console reveals is still pretty exciting no matter what side of the fence you're on. You're not fooling anyone!

Not long now. Can feel the tension! I've no interest in all this social/living room all in one box thing, just want games on a swanky piece of hardware.

You're not excited now, but wait til you see that dashboard performance. Say goodbye to the spinner.
