We already know that Rare is working on new IP. They've said as much through their hiring and with that Rare bag they teased with a couple of months ago.. I'd post a link but then I'd be self-advertising.

Now we're also getting a new historic IP. Wizards & Warriors is a great game, but not one that would be considered historic to Rare and gaming. Killer Instinct fits that bill perfectly, as do others such as Perfect Dark and Banjo. At this time we have sufficient evidence that Killer Instinct is likely though, the others we do not.

GoldenEye XBLA. They saved it for Xbox One since 360 XBLA games can't be transferred over supposedly. Nintendo wouldn't have an inferior version thanks to the Wii U so Iwata doesn't have that reason to be upset anymore.

Yeah, there have been murmurs of a Samurai character. I know the picture quality is awful but I don't get any bit of a Samurai feel.

I think some of the criticism of Microsoft's reveal is verging on hyperbole but regardless, this was perfect.

The main evidence is that MS has been fighting to get the KI trademark for a while now and successfully reached an agreement to have joint rights with Fox if I understood it right. Also, Robin Beanland, the original KI composer is still at Rare
