They would be better off trying to snag some popular indie PC game as console exclusive ala minecraft (DayZ?). It would cheap to get and would probably sell a lot more copies.
I could see a timed exclusive of this similar to what they did for Bioshock/Lost Planet on 360 though.

Why? It's not a big title, buying exclusivity through offering to fund its development would be easy.

Yeah. This is beginning to become as annoying as people who assume Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts III, and Beyond Good & Evil II will be Wii U exclusives for abosultely no reason at all.

I wouldn't buy one for just this. If it doesn't come to the PC and isn't timed I would buy it whenever I do get a xbone... which is at some unknown date down the line.

If Microsoft wouldn't fund an Alan Wake sequel, I highly doubt they'll fun an ME sequel--a title of similar 'didn't sell well at all initially, but reached eventually cult status with respectable sales' fame.
Unless the special bent is that it's Kinect 2.0 focused.
If it isn't already obvious, I am trying to convince myself that this won't be exclusive lol.
I can only hope that if it is exclusive they've gone full-blown cod knockoff with it. No colors, no awesome soundtrack, gutted the platforming, and made faith look like Lara Croft.

So it's entirely possible they could be funding this too, but time will tell...

I don't know this for absolute fact so i didn't want to post as much. And my friend at EA isn't answering my email (he isn't at DICE but may know...). But this thread isn't the first time i've heard it.Im praying if it is exclusive that it's still on the PC. I want to play it but not enough to by a Xbone for it.
But this combined with an insomniac exclusive, a respawn exclusive, Hawken (console exclusivity, also coming to PC and phones), LoL (console exclusivity), Ryse and Dead Rising 3... all games I've heard mentioned multiple times... are going to add up to a solid lineup of third party exclusives.
This is part of the reason that it's baffling that the reveal was so bad because they do actually have games. My only guess is that the games still look like shit (which CoD did, honestly).
But, even though that list is solid, goddamn microsoft is making it hard to get excited about their box.

This is all I wanted to see from EA at E3 last year. I'm super excited for this, but just like so many others in the thread, I'm going to be cautious with my expectations. It's hard to see them making a sequel that doesn't seriously alter how the game plays.

You could buy a key elsewhere to register on Origin, assuming it's not a matter of principal.
Jesus are we still at the stage of people claiming EA are going to jump into bed with MS and go console exclusive? ME2 will not be xbone exclusive. None of the other EA created titles are exclusive. This one will not be any different.
Of course Titan may be exclusive, but then again EA are only publishing the title. Respawn are the developers.
Even the Xbox One console is listed for the Xbox360 platform as well is Forza 5:

I hope you're right. Seriously.
I don't care much for third party exclusives. I don't get excited when they are announced for sony consoles, which are my preference. I mean Im excited that the games are coming, but withholding them from others does nothing for me. Others seem to get great joy out of it though.
I probably shouldn't have said anything at all. The other games I've mentioned in many threads and feel good about the number of people who i've talked to about them. I haven't gotten any confirmation beyond one person that ME2 is exclusive and even he said "i think that's true." but works at neither EA or MS. And I really hope he is wrong.
I'm going to shut up about this now as I don't want my gaf reputation (or banning) floating on this. I should have just kept what I heard to myself.

Kinect One is improved from the original, so what better way to showcase that then a game that's known for immersing you as the player via a unique first person experience.

As improved as Kinect 2 is, I can't see them basing the main gameplay on it.
If anything, they'll probably have an arade mode where you can free run, having to jump over and dodge obstacles etc...

They turned Steel Batallion, a game known for it's massively complex controls, into a Kinect game.
If they're funding this, it's going to be integrated with Kinect no matter what. And given how poorly the first game sold, I'm almost certain this is what's happening.
If DICE is doing a Star Wars title, they probably haven't even begun work. That deal was only finalized sometime ago.
How do you run and move with Kinect gg on-rail experience with just jumping in the game. It won't be a Kinect game
I still remember, when I heard of the original Mirror's Edge, I was obsessed with all the media released for it, up 'til the day it was released. And then I went and bought the game, even before I had a console to play it on. This game, despite its faults, is what opened the door to HD consoles for me.

My logic behind that being that DICE, the developers of Battlefield, could have focused more energy into a more polished gun-play experience if they so desired.
