CL final most likely will mean where PS4, the console, will be shown for the first time. There´s no way they would advertise the PS4 without showing the console.

Imagine if MS did that with the One, "$599" or whatever, neglecting to mention the almost always-required internet connection, focus (as far as we know) on motion gestures and multimedia, leaving all of it as a surprise. Bahaha.

I find it hard to resist new technology when it arrives and if X1 was my only option in 2013 I probably would have reluctantly bought myself one for Xmas.... Now I have a choice, and I will probably go PS4

My prediction has been this for quite a while now:
October: Japan (750k units allocated there for Q3)
November: America (1.5 million units allocated there for Q3)
December: UK, France, Germany, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy (1 million units allocated there for Q3)
Total PS4 shipments for the quarter: 3.25 million.

I don't think adverts targeted at the mainstream public would do that though. It's not a financial report, it'd be disingenuous of them to trick their potential customers like that.
Edit: Sorry, didn't see the other comments saying the same thing. The more I see about this the more excited I get, I'm just hoping it's not because Sony have been holding back the bad news and the other shoe will drop soon.

In the UK we don't usually refer to "holiday" 2013, I think that's more an Americanism.

No, it's because we don't use that term "Holiday 20XX" like America. I've never seen a product advertised with that term in the UK.
Have you ever, ever known a company to put a mainstream advert out about a new product, with a FY release date? No, because the average consumer wouldn't understand.
2013 is 2013, calendar.
Also, in the UK, a holiday is what americans call a 'vacation'. We go on holiday. I'm going on holiday in two weeks to cornwall.
Christmas is christmas. Autumn is Autumn.

My Tesco just got their XBone and PS4 cardboard standees in today. On the PS4 one it just says coming soon.
But it's exciting to see a new generation arriving and this year to boot.
