That's not it. People don't want downgraded P3P point and click adventure persona games. They want full blown console experience persona game downported to portable systems. Which will most likely be only feasible on Vita

If the PS2 could do it I'm sure they would be able to pull it off on the 3DS.

I don't want a downgraded P5 so 3DS is pretty much the worst place it could end up imo. Would literally take it on any other console but that.

Nope, Catherine used Gamebryo. P5 will be using a new engine.

Do you really think the 3DS can't handle a game on the level of P4? If it is a point and click game like P3P it'll be because atlus was cutting cotners, not because it's on 3DS

Funny cause P4G was on Vita and P3P was on PSP. Those were not the most popular systems.

P3P went to the system that was able to handle it and Golden went to the handheld they thought would be more successful.

Let's go over the platform choices for P5, again!

PS3 - The safest choice, so definitely not a interesting situation. Hmm.

PS4 - Fits the description, and Duckroll told me to "save money" or something when we were talking about P5.

PSV - Maybe Atlus is planning to invert the console > portable tradition?

3DS - It's selling well, but that doesn't mean shit, we know Atlus is using a powerful engine.

Wii U/360 - Multiplatform.

Indeed, but they stated that they were on full production for the next Persona game just this March so, unless they were lying, it couldn't be Catherine.

Dark Souls sold more in the west than it did in Japan and Namco is positioning 2 as an AAA title.
