Exactly, releasing japanese exclusives on the Xbox never worked this gen and theres no reason it would work now, especially with all the restrictions in place which I can't see the Japanese market liking.

I say Kojima appears at both press conferences. Mark Cerny wouldn't want Kojima not on his stage.
There's going to be a lot of smoke and mirrors from platform holders to make people think third-party stuff's exclusive when it's not. And even a large chunk of the third-party games that really are exclusive will probably go multi-platform after a year anyway, so try not to get too worked up.

if these guys dont know what they are talking about they really need to shut their mouths. Im not trying to be negative, I want to believe, but these guys saying this kind of stuff leads to a direction in hope, and come E3 if that hope is crushed the backlash will be worse.
Lets see if Sonys "listening" skills are better than Microsofts.
And were just speculating as to whether or not he will be at a conference...whether to show a trailer or to just announce a next gen version. It doesnt really matter.

It doesn't really make sense for him to show up on stage at a platform holder's conference to announce a next-gen version of a multiplatform game when they're doing a mini-event to unveil the trailer for that same game the next night.
It's a waste of the platform-holder's time and it's a waste of his time.

MGS4 is a multiplatform game? That's news to me.
Sony did it with MGS4 because it was a marquee PS3 exclusive. MGS5 is not a marquee title for either platform. Therefore, there's no reason for Sony or MS to waste time on pimping it.
Really though lol. That's all I have been seeing since the X1 was announced.

By your logic, they would never spend no time showing Assassin's Creed every year cause Ubi usually shows the game during their usual conference that usually airs before Sony's.
If MGS5 is Next gen exclusive on either Console you can be sure it'll get a spot.

It's not next-gen exclusive on either console. It's straight-up multiplatform.
I just don't see Kojima showing up at a presser this year. It doesn't benefit him to do so, and both MS and Sony need to focus on their actual exclusives.
At this point, I'm expecting MS to reveal they've purchased Naughty Dog and show off Uncharted 4 for X1 powered by the cloud, of course.

That still doesn't refute my point of AC being demoed every year in Sony's conference when it is multiplatform. It benefits Sony to keep the series associated to PS as they are paying Acti to do with Destiny.

Who is the best villain in a Playstation game?
Pick only 3 villains (or less).
You have to install games. 7 GB of RAM is going to take forever to fill up from a blu-ray. The tech that allows you to play games while they download is the same that allows you to play them while it installs from disc, it's all going to be there.
Or if by install you mean you don't need the disc in the drive to play... you might want to consider the PSN version of games you want to have ready at all times.
That's actually the one thing I like about X1. Combines my desire to have some sort of physical copy with the convenience of a digital library.
PS4 will install from the disc but I'm guessing it will still require you to have the disc in the tray.

Kojima San said he is unable to bring MGS4 to the xbox since it ran on dvd tech and also went onto say that if xbox used blu ray tech, he will definitely consider porting it over to that console. This was his comment to people who asked if the MGS Legacy Edition would come out on the 360!

I hope so. If that is the cause, fuck EA. Not buying any of their shit if they pump it with the kind of anti used game and anti consumer crap making headlines.
I do not trust EA or Activision to be leading the charge on these things, especially EA. Being voted least liked company for a couple of years in a row now seems oddly preemptively fitting as well.

As E3 inches closer, my apprehension grows pertaining to this whole used game thing. Whilst Sony may not be able to colossally screw up because it lacks the 24 hour sign in and check or one hour limit on another console (while offline) like the xbone, used game policies that are being enforced by EA, Activision and Ubisoft (according giantbomb) may end up forcing Sony's hand especially if they start favouring MS (both as part of financial deal and to push their agenda) with exclusive DLCs. EA is looking chummy (and they recently also dropped their online pass program) with MS and that has me worried.

Take this rumor with a grain of salt. I don't know if this was posted before too. The website that got DRIVECLUB right before it was revealed has another rumor that Sony is trying to get MGSV as a next-gen exclusive to the PS4.

Yeah, we can expect a bunch of timed exclusives for Xbox One. But I feel Sony has prepared for such a scenario by heavily building their first party portfolio. I am not worried about exclusive DLCs though since they aren't such a huge factor in driving console sales.
This is most likely fake. Kojima has repeatedly said that he wants to go multiplatform.

I think, from what verendus said, that it's a PS4 exclusive in Japan. I mean.... Kind of silly because I don't think any japanese would buy the xbox one anyways but yeah.
