I know right? I remember a Kaz interview from an old OPM disc, just hanging out at an EB playing a demo kiosk. He was with SCEA at the time and talked about how important it was for people in the business to take feedback from gamers to heart. He just seemed to get it.

Microsoft's DRM works by requiring your console to connect to the Internet every 24 hours, so it can upload installed game data (since all games are required to be installed on the hard drive) to Microsoft's servers.

It seems to me that if Sony isnt requiring an Internet connection and isn't requiring all games to be installed (as has been the rumor), they'd have a tough time enforcing any used/borrowed game DRM.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a Kaz 300 gif where he shouts "THIS IS SONY!" and kicks some Microsoftie into the pit.

Unless it's been made and I just haven't seen it.

This is kinda embarrassing, to be honest. I felt a little a bad for him. He's the CEO, not the leader of a specific division, but the CEO of the entire company. Kinda weird.

He's a really good communicator. His (American) English is nearly perfect.

Not that he's saying anything wrong. He isn't perfect because he sounds like he's thinking faster than he's talking with micro-pauses. His accent is 90% there. That's pretty impressive for someone that was born and lived most of his life in Japan.

Man, all of the Kaz gifs over the last few months have been hilarious and it's great to see him embrace the love.

Somebody should make more House and Tretton gifs though. I want to see the former made into a "Mr. House" gif from Fallout New Vegas haha.
