Considering they showed very little, and mainline Halo games always launch in the Fall. November 2014 would be a pretty safe bet. I wonder if they're just going to stick with the simple "Halo" or add a number. I could understand just doing the former. It's been over a decade, you can get away with dropping the number on a new console.

Am I the only one who understood the trailer? I took it to be a massive awesome troll on 343s part. Starts off looking like Destiny, music starts coming in.. sounds like typical Marty, then BAM off comes the robe and its Master Chiefs helmet. Jaring, unexpected, suprising. Also, and I hate to say this, really fucking awesome.

I may hate the Halo series now, but thats how you do a reveal trailer.

I really do hope that they drop with the CoD crap this time around though. Go back to the damn roots for campaign (don't see it happening with multiplayer). There's no need for those extremely scripted elements that Halo 4 brought in (I'M LOOKING AT YOU EXTREMELY TEDIOUS, BORING AND FRAGILE MAMMOTH SECTION). The trailer seems like they've got something rather different planned, and I'm glad. Just don't make it CoD/Halo Hybrid 2.0, please 343i.
