Microsoft's conference was overall better. But Sony slayed the competition in the last 15 minutes of theirs.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Surprised by how down everyone is on the Nintendo conference. Everything looked great? Was a little safe, for sure. But still.

What surprising titles could have beaten the announcements of Dead Rising 3 exclusive, Insomniac exclusive, and especially KH3 and FFXV?

Sony = 20/10 | They had Final Fantasy 15, Kingdom Hearts 3. No DRM and only $399!
Microsoft = 2/10 | $499, DRM and used game blocking, games I don't care about.
Nintendo = 7.5/10 | but only for X and Super Smash Brothers. Sure Windwaker HD is cool, but its nothing new. Where is dat new Zelda Wii U game?

In terms of Structure
Microsoft killed it beginning to End. GAME after GAME after GAME. This is how i want ALL gaming conferences to be like.

In terms of Value/Weight/Worth
SONY KILLED IT, The bombs were big and heavy.

Sony > Microsoft > Nintendo

Very close call between the 3, could easily have put them as equal in fact. MS delivered on games while sony didn't, but sony delivered on policies and most importunity, price. Nintendo may actually have had the most exclusives I'm interested in (Mario, Bayonetta, Wonderful 101 and X), but the Wii U desperately needs a price cut and the Retro thing was a huge let down. Don't know where to put EA and Ubisoft in the rankings since its tough to compare excitement for a publisher vs a console but EA was waaay better than Ubi

Sony - 4/5, would have been 5/5, but, the first half wasn't really interesting.
Nintendo - 3/5, almost no surprises, expected more from them.
Ubisoft - 3/5, some nice games, some bad games, too many bad jokes.
EA - 2/5, a few games, sports, sports, sports, sports, and a few more games.
Microsoft - 2/5, the games seem like just more of the same, they didn't address their ridiculous policies, and...$499

How do people have Ubi last when they showed so much?

Sony>MS>Ubi=EA>>>>Nintendo

So are you rating MS' press conference or policies? Because their conference was actually very good compared to years past...

I should clarify. I am totally pissed off at their aversion of talking about "always online" or "used games". The games, while some look good, I am more interested in the PlayStation offerings. As a show however, MS had the best tempo out of all the conferences.

Based on conference alone and not console politics.
Microsoft hands down nothing can beat Halo 5 60fps and dedicated servers.
Second would be Ubisoft dat Division.
That does not say im going to buy a xbone.

If im was going to take console politics into it.
Then sony No DRM(was not a issue for me privacy was more the issue), cheaper price point and i can life with multi psn+ only.

But nothing really jumped and said i need to get next gen consoles day one to me.
So im upgrading pc and wait for price drop on ps4 or when halo 5 drops and i like their multiplayer direction.

Yeah
MS > sony > Ea / Ubisoft

While I think I would swap Nintendo with Microsoft in your second list, I agree with your overall train of thought.

MS' conference was awesome, but the DRM shit has definitely put a dampener on my hype for the machine.

MS: 4/10 (Shitty DRM still stands)
Sony 9/10 (MP behind a paywall prevented it from getting a 10/10 from me)
Nintendo: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! This company is fucked.

Sony was legendary.
MS delivered on the games, too bad the console is attached to it.
Didn't watch nintendo, didn't care but seems to have disappointing announcements.

No one really impressed me games-wise. More of the same - pessimistic science fiction, dystopias and bro shooters. But my preferences aside Sony clearly wins for the better value and not trying to cheat consumers. Nintendo just kinda meh. I don't play EA or Ubisoft games so I didn't watch their conferences.
