Main reason I did everything in my power to hit my 100% approval rating in a single day. Didn't want to catch it up the next day and then have to wait another day for a permit.
But I like paying off my house loans with Nook in a single day.

Ok, important thing I should tell everyone. When you complete funding a public works project, tell Isabelle. Otherwise, construction won't finish, and that gyroid will be sitting there for another day.

I just paid my third project, a bench. Gonna place another bench left of it with some space in between to place a park clock. The fountain and some flowerbeds are in front of it. Hope it shapes up nice as I'm going. Only need an axe to cut down some trees surrounding it

I never felt this way with previous games. There's just too much content blocked off at the beginning here. At least I should be getting the island tomorrow.

There are three or four "dud" tickets.
They appear if it rained the day before.
That's what I'm waiting for before I build many projects. Sure I'll be days behind, but this is a game to play for months. I'm in no rush.Only need an axe to cut down some trees surrounding it

Why do people hate on the poor Gyroids...
I was excited to see it rain for the first time so I could get some of them.
Heck no! They even tell you you can pick up stuff. The Gyroid will even give you different tools to use during the tour. I gather a lot of fruit when I do them.

Can I join the grousing about villagers building in inconvenient places? Woke up this morning to this guy planting his house right in the middle of my beautiful orchard. He must have taken out at least a few trees. Hmph.
At least Isabelle and I started building the Dream Suite.
I also visited Stoof's town yesterday. He's got some awesome flowers going. Blue and black hybrids even. Although one of his villagers is kind of a close talker and I wasn't quite sure what she was saying.

No. I've done that to get more of some colours (e.g. I had no yellow tulips) and to introduce lilies into my town. I feel it is a perfectly legit strategy.
Think of it like this, for every flower you take you are sacrificing about 8000 bells from a bug.

Haven't gotten the QR code machine yet, but I feel close. Sable is really opening up to me.

Did it the other week in London and was pleasantly surprised.
Today I got the final piece of the exterior deco in... at least I think so anyway. Suits perfectly for a martial artist with all the exquisite bamboo detailing. Unfortunately the house itself cannot be made of wood lest a big bad wolf comes.
I've also finally managed to pay off the bridge after for so long (I know, I know). It's a suspension bridge and will be perfect just beside my humble abode. Of course, the villagers hardly contributed any bells and why am I running the town out of my own pocket?
However my interiors are still a mess and no one is allowed inside lest they die of horror. Shouldn't have expanded that fast because I don't have things to fill it with... (Nook is always one sly raccoon) but I also do have stuffs that wouldn't fit in with the aesthetic at all. So off the Re-tail you go!
Re-tail is now retailing four pieces of the astro set (plus the wallpaper), and the exorbitant prices will surely make suckers out of some people.
But with all the good news a bad one inevitably a bad one will come. Leonardo whom I despised as an rough guy tainting the serenity of my town have decided to leave. He ended being a good rival so with respect, I have to let him go and travel to other towns to expand his horizons. I'll miss you, brozinsky.
Still, there's five more days until he leaves and I have plenty of pitfall seeds to spare...

Things are moving just when the game was starting to feel a touch same-y. I think I like this pacing a lot.

If you have a japanese 3DS, just setup an WiFi access point with an SSID called 7SPOT without any security. Connect to it via the 3DS internet settings whenever you want to download the latest items. That's how I'm doing it, because it takes too much time in a 7/11 lol.
I can't wait for those little Nooksters to upgrade. Two more days now. And same goes for kicks I believe. Already spend the 8000 easily by buying all the stuff they had at Able's

I spent 8K on a King's Beard today, so I'm hoping that'll set off the new shop opening soon!
By the by, does anyone have spare (genuine) art that they're willing to part with? I need one piece to get my museum upgrade going and would be willing to give a reasonable sum for it. I had Redd over yesterday and I only bought one item (stupid) that turned out to be a forgery

Nice I was in Amsterdam just a couple of weeks ago. I miss it already.
I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least 1 3DS in all the Asian tour groups that I saw when I was there!
