I guess it happens frequently; people just snap..but the bizarre nature of it coupled with his fame and the fact that we don't have his side of the story is what makes this so frustratingly compelling.

-Chuck Palumbo beat Kenny Doane. Decent heat, and the crowd got into it at the end.

-They actually did an angle backstage with Vickie Guerrero. Something about how Dave vs. Edge was going to take place even though they were never supposed to wrestle again, but it wouldn't be a title match.
-Deuce and Domino beat Cryme Tyme. Not horrible. Cryme Tyme stole the car afterwards and are going to strip it at the Briscoe Brothers' auto shop.
-MVP cut a promo on Tony Parker of the Spurs.
-Kane beat MVP with the chokeslam. All matches are getting time.
-They did a skit with Great Khali and Eugene. Then they did another one that involved Vickie, I believe Mickie, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and the fat oily guy. Basically a way to get Ron Simmons there to go, "DAMN!"

OK, first off, the WWE definitely had to know about the deaths. Thats a given. What I think is that they also knew about the double homicide/suicide angle. The fact remains, though, that it was still being investigated. In knowing that, Vince decided to have a tribute show. It was the right thing to do. He had quite the following in his career, and they honored PURELY AS A WRESTLER. Sure, JR did say something about him being a good man. But thats how THEY knew him. For most of the show, it really did seem that JR and King strayed away from saying that he was a good father or good husband. And this is not saying that he wasn't; he may have been up until a certain point.
Aside from wanting to know more of how everything happened and what was in those text messages, I want to know what the writers are gonna be coming up with for next week. I highly doubt that the McMahon death storyline will continue. Btw, someone said the WWE will feel a dent for weeks to come because of that. You are wrong, sir. The fans will actually appreciate this, even if Benoit is a murderer. It would have been wrong for Vince to continue his "alleged demise" plot, cause death is not an easy topic. Vince only did that cause -BIG SURPRISE- we knew he was alive. And the ridiculous plot attracted viewers cause they wanted to see how they could possibly end it.
Btw, Chiggs, a legend did pass. Regardless of how it happened, he did pass, and he was a legend. The only time to do that show was yesterday, when details were still "sketchy." He deserves some recognition for his career and his career only. I totally agree with everybody that says what Benoit did was not only wrong, but horrible. And everybody keeps saying he killed a child. Remember, he not only killed a wife, he killed a MOTHER. Can you imagine what the **** was going through her head as it was happening. I doubt she was worrying about herself; she must've been going insane thinking of how she wouldn't be able to protect her child, a 7 year old no less. So I say, he killed a child AND a mother, for God sakes.
I know some of the crap I wrote here sounds illogical, but w/evs. Its my thoughts and feelings as they come to me. Either way, Rest In Peace Nancy and Daniel. As for Chris, I'd say RIP, but I highly doubt thats happening...
